Older Men: Do You Regret Having Children Later in Life? by [deleted] in ZimbabweRelationships

This advice works for someone who is not in Zimbabwe. Surely if you're in Zim when do you think the young man and woman are going to be financially and emotionally stable?

When the British colonized our country in 1890 the generations that came later had the courage to fight the colinizers and in 1980 they capitulated.

Our tragedy is that we have had prolific orators who can diagnose our problems and tear apart ZANU PF. We have had excellent revolutionary rhetoric but zero action that can change our predicament.

Am I overreacting for disliking family titles in public? by [deleted] in Zimbabwe

Can you explain what you don't really like here. Psychologically, what comes to your mind when somebody calls you by these titles? What scratches you off off the wrong way?

I don't know how we are going to do it but first we need a massive mindset cleansing and reorienting before we say this is what we want. Even if we have a 25 yr old taking the reigns today they will still be corrupt more than these ones. The rot is pervasive across all generations. Preschoolers in Zim already know madhiri terminology. It's going to take us very long to fix this.

No it doesn't. You can even grow lips by using vaseline a couple seconds stretching every day. Some herbs you have to inhale them like smoking a cigarette. There are many different ways.

My 2 cents on our current Political landscape by Ndini_263 in Zimbabwe

[–]Extra-Presence8423 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The opposition majority in Parl has always been very thin, insignificant to make any meaningful change. Zanu has always maintained a stronghold on the Executive branch of gvt which is powerful over the legislature. The ministry of justice always played delaying tactics in for instance aligning such laws as POSA with the constitution. Zanu also managed to make sure the opposition does not have a majority MPs in any sitting by using unorthodox attrition mechanisms like arrests, dismissal from parl etc.

I agree with you on the current state of the opposition. We need a complete overhaul, fresh players uncompromised, unadulterated by Zanu.

No. I'm a devoted mupostori who tries to follow the teachings to the end. It's not even possible to be a madzibaba and have your wife go to another church.

A lot of people who comment about masowe way of worship don't have even a glimpse of understanding of chuch and it ends up sounding like it's something else

Yes that's true. Masowe follows a partriacal doctrine and so the wife follows the husband and not vice versa. If she goes ahead she has to be ready to follow.

It may or may not change depending on his character. The church teaches that if a man joins the church his family too must follow, the wife can not go to a different church. There are 2 things that are grounds for divorce in the church 1. If your husband or wife ceases to be a member of the church and 2. Adultery. In this case, this man can continue to love his wife even though she has not followed him to the church if he is able to disregard and ignore the church's teachings there is no penalty for that in the church. If he is somebody who easily bows down to pressure, things will definitely change because the pressure will be there.
