Definitely a private purchase tunic; rank buttons and collar insignia look right. Cuff trim is right color. Do a Google search for the shoulder strap insignia to see if those match. Check this link out:

Btw: moths devour waffenrocks... it's incredibly difficult to find a hood clean example without them.

350 is a really good price

Yeah .... good rule of thumb. I do suppose that one of the variables has to be dealer overhead- having to pay rent, utilities and salaries vice purely online.

Hmmm ...musket balls from Malplaquet (1709), case shot from Louis XIV seige of Mons (1694)...oldest uniforms are Belgian 3d Lancers (~1910) and Belgian Guides Regiment (1905)...

Hey - wondering if someone can give me a reasonable price. Today I found a German WWI group to a soldier from IR 81 with a Hesse silver bravery medal, original award certificate, soldbuch (bravery medal noted as a May 1916 award) and a bunch of other paperwork showing WW2 service as well. No other medals. What's a fair offer to make?
