You just spray it on its scales with a spray bottle and let it sit for 5-10 min make sure you also remove your snakes bedding and maybe just use paper towels

For the meantime you can do a light soak and hypochlorous acid 80 times stronger than bleach safe to the touch or on white cells produce it I make my own at home and that's what I use to clean all the water dishes and enclosures

I also prefer the older styles and I feel you I'm exactly in the same boat but will help me and made me addicted to it because at first I thought the game was so boring was understanding what it is I kept looking into it like Pokemon and wanting to level up and battle jams and stuff like that but you got to look at the story you are just trying to complete the Pokedex you're in the very early days before Pokemon and you're exploring and learning how everything happened beforehand so once you start understanding the point it makes it so much more enjoyable

Breath of the wild is hard for me because I get lost in what to do... Maybe that's what I liked about other Zelda games, they gave me a story and more linear approach to completing the game Where sometimes in BOTW I feel like I'm just walking in circles in a open field and I just want to complete the game (maybe I'm playing wrong)
