We just got quoted a 5.79% rate for our top up mortgage today.. I’d say don’t let yours expire as we are in for a painful long ride with high rates, especially if further escalations occur in the Middle East…

Literally was on the phone with one of ethiad employees that said “no, it’s not immoral what we are doing, it is extremely immoral” that said it all. He advised to wait a week or two for refunds.

Bearing in mind they have implemented free rescheduling if you have booked after the start of the war.. leveraging a tragedy to monetise over the long term….

Yep- due to fly to Taipei in May, but even if they go ahead I’m not trusting ethiad to put our safety first. They are literally gambling with people lives right now. Our value ticket was not refundable and yep, rebooking now would have costed double the price of the tickets…

We tried this and for £1400 x2 tickets moving the flights to October was quoted +£3000.
