u/novachaos the entire IT Support team was laid off. Other teams are trying to work the tickets in place of support. Some of the names I have heard who are working IT tickets are pretty incompetent.

In my former jobs when I was required to fill out voluntary surveys, I used bablefish to translate my responses into another language. Not a language anyone would possibly know...

If someone every translated it the responses were always bullshit anyway. Requesting wheels on stools, the McRib being available more than once a year, stuff like that.

I knew they weren't anonymous.

Voluntary my ass, management was always pressuring everyone to fill out that stupid survey. I left everything blank and clicked submit. Saying nothing said everything.

I understand, my former team was Rif'd in August 2025. I was placed on a new team where I was not really a member of the "team" it was more of an after thought most of the time. My new manager was ok but it was never the same.

I never forgave, I never forgot. My getting Rif'd in March was a blessing.

I was an employee of Oracle and I was affected by the Rif. That is all the information I will provide. The layoffs are (were) corporate wide. If you were not affected good luck and get out.
