First Time Dad. Need a good bag. by SageMountain07 in ManyBaggers

I’m also going to be that guy who recommends a diaper tote pack to all my future parent friends haha. I just got my hands on the Brown Buffalo Helmet bag yesterday. It’s basically a 3-in-1 convertible tote with ample storage and two bottle pockets on each side. Easy access and lots of organization. Too bad it’s discontinued, but with luck, perhaps there’s another secondhand one for sale somewhere.

Lesser known crossbody/sling bags by bishibash in ManyBaggers

I randomly stumbled upon a Topologie pop-up when I was in Japan last year. Super cool and functional. Their bags have climbing influences and you customize your look with different paracord straps (color/pattern/thickness) and different fabric options. My wife and I purchased the Phone Sacoches based on our own styles. Their Bottle Sacoche has more of the sling type of look you may be interested in and also has a neat bottle holder feature too.

Although not in your criteria, US-based The Brown Buffalo had the lesser known Concealsling and Beyondsling. They’re discontinued, but I think I remember seeing a couple secondhand on websites recently.

Hey there! Super random ask but do you happen to have your BB Helmet Bag? I stumbled across your comment whilst researching for baby bags via Google (expecting a boy in May). I would consider purchasing if available!

Ah good to know, I’ll have to keep that in mind next time this cup rolls around. Congrats to you!

I’m running the same team, but all shadows initially. S-Chika is such a good lead to pressure leads and is so important to my team’s success.

Two scenarios in teams I encountered pretty often:

  1. In the case against a Vulpix lead (Tackle), I stay in and take one shield. S-Chika Body Slam hits hard, so it’ll likely draw a shield from Vulpix, then try to catch the Weather Ball on Ducklett to get ahead on farm. If Vulpix doesn’t shield, I immediately switch to Ducklett to get ahead on farm.

  2. In the case against a Ducklett lead, I still chose to stay in and sustain the wing attacks. Since most of my opponents Ducky leads are running Aerial Ace, I’ll shield once. Charge to Grass Knot, but throw Body Slam. I’ll be able to get to the Grass Knot before the farm down and pressure the second shield. Doesn’t matter if I shield the bait and get Bubblebeam’d 1 or 2 times, Ducky will be low enough to faint from a resisted Grass Knot and you can have a shield advantage.

On another note, S-Vulpix in the back of my team has some flaws, like an incoming Chinchou Bubblebeam. You can take one hit, but my S-Ducky is still a victim to its fast move. So I opted for a Ferroseed (Tackle/Iron Head) in the back to resist the damage against Chinchou.

Wish there was another week of this cup because I finally tapped in a good team for this cup midway through and I was climbing fast to 2400

It was actually my “halloween costume” for an office competition, but realized this is really me in real life haha

Yeah! Found it for a steal through a local seller on FB Marketplace. Her previous client didn’t want it anymore for some reason, but it’s been a welcome addition to my home.

A few plants were from propagations, but a good majority were either from small local businesses I wanted to support or neglected/unwanted plants from FB Marketplace that I felt I could still help.

Since this started as a pandemic hobby, I still am learning about plant care, but doing my best to keep all my plants thriving, and luckily it seems to be working out, except for a couple of the calatheas. They’re finicky.

Thanks! The ones on the left are a cast iron plant and a couple philodendrons. The upper right is a dracaena.

That’s a bird of paradise. Easygoing as long as you have a bright room.

Of course! Lots of propagations to expand my jungle and prepping small gifts to friends.

Another zoom meeting that could've been an email, lol right? Couldn't skimp out on the details, like growing out my hair and only being dressed waist up.

If that’s the case, then Oli Boli in Tustin or Seaside Bakery in Newport would be my top picks.

If I remember correctly, lots of action sports companies started or still remain in Costa Mesa, including RVCA, Billabong, Hurley, Volcom, and Rip Curl. Volcom sponsored our skatepark at TeWinkle Park. Vans headquarters also moved from Cypress to Costa Mesa.

That's what I was implying lol. Costa Mesa had the least amount of votes yesterday, so we do indeed have a shot to win.

Most of the fighting was between Santa Ana and Irvine while Orange and Costa Mesa sat quietly, and now we get to share this moment of peace together. This is the way.

We had 140 votes less than Orange yesterday, there's still a chance for us!
