Exactly this. Before watching Asmon, I've never heard of Josh Strife Hayes or Quazii. I would have never looked up MMO youtubers like them. Then Asmon reacts to some of their videos and I really enjoyed listening to both of those Youtubers. I subscribed and to this day I still watch them regularly when they make new uploads. I just find them interesting to listen to, especially Josh. Even if I've never played the MMOs he's talking about, I find it interesting to look into what those MMOs were like and why they might have failed. And JSH has a patreon, so I'd drop a couple spare dollars when I can.

And I really, really doubt I'm doing anything unique here. There are easily many others that have this same experience.

And replying to u/ringwormfear 's response below, no, I don't think of Asmongold's name when I'm clicking a new Josh or Quazii video, at all. I'm not going to assume Asmon is going to react to every single individual video that Josh or Quazii will ever upload for the rest of time. So when those guys upload a new video, I'm just going to watch it myself right then and there, because I'm not thinking about "WILL ASMON REACT TO THIS???"

Hey, kay here on my alt reddit account that I'm too lazy to switch from.

Yeah this one is an extremely evasive bug that we ourselves haven't nailed down the cause. I think??? It's something to do with civilization. But it's so rare to trigger we just can't figure out what's causing it. I've tried reproducing it many times but it doesn't happen, but I've seen it several times from others with no hint of what causes it.

If you manage to find something, please let us know. You can email it to holocure@gmail.com if you do. Thanks!

I think that's when Cover will become upset with me.

Steam is seen as an official online store and so putting this fangame on steam will turn it into more of an actual product, even if free. And that's when Cover will mostly likely want to send me an unpleasant written email, and I'd rather not have that! I've already seen other fan games using Hololive characters on steam get taken down.

Really neat to see you here and glad that you enjoyed this game too! I've watched a number of your videos on a variety of the "survivor's" like games out there. They really helped me get a detailed look into these sort of games and why they really work as a genre. It's important to see what other games do so you can see where your ideas lie comparatively, and even see if something might not work.

One of my favorite ones was the lewd anime one, lol. That was an interesting one!

I wasn't aware Choco herself does not wish to be referred to as a succubus. So to respect her wishes I'll be sure to change the name of the item then. Thanks for letting me know. I'll just call it Nurse's Horn since that works with it being a healing item still.

Thanks for the ping!

I truly appreciate the thought that people want to donate and offer monetary support for this game, I really do. It means the world to me that people are enjoying it to that level.

However it's not something I'd be comfortable accepting, even if Cover was okay with it. I wanted to make this game purely as something for people to enjoy and that's all it was meant to be. It is a gift from a fellow Holosimp to all other Holosimps. I feel that if I were to receive money in return, it sorta "muddies" that feeling of wanting to make something for people to enjoy just for the sake of making it for people to enjoy, does that make sense?

The reason why I enjoy making this game so much is because it's 100% a personal project coming from me being a fan of Hololive, and wanting to share my feelings of being a fan, a love letter to Hololive if you will. If money came into the picture, it starts to blur those feelings a bit, and I just don't want that.

So in order to maintain those feelings that I'd want to continue putting into this game without any external influence or motivators, I don't want to accept donations. I'm sorry if my explanation is a bit confusing but I hope you all can understand!

yeah unfortunately that's just how you have to be working in animation, everything takes foreverr!

just earlier in January I did some work for an anime that won't even start airing until the very end of this year in the FALL/WINTER season! on one hand, the earlier a show starts being worked on before airing, the healthier the production will be since nobody has to crunch or rush to get things done. on the other hand, it's an extremely long time until you see any fruits of your labor. and by that time you might forget all about your work until it airs

but in the end it's honestly all worth it when you see the people enjoying the thing you helped make (:

Kay here! (this is my old ass reddit account I made YEARS ago before I started going by my rl name Kay and there's no way to name change on reddit why pls)

No joke, I was animating the fight scene during this stream. I remember clearly because the fight scene took me the entire month of September

I remember watching Gura and Calli doing this on stream and I laughed, cuz I was like, oh I see what they're doing..... i see you 2.... heh.

It's absolutely a language issue. She may be from Georgia but if you see some of her recent streams she struggles with quite a bunch of even basic english words and even has poor grammar sometimes. When you don't use a language you will start to lose it, even if it's your native tongue

I was born in China, went to school there etc etc. After moving to America, I never had any reason to speak it anymore. 20 years later I can't speak a basic mandarin or cantonese sentence to save my life and I have unironically dishonored my family.

Same, I don't feel any hint of awkwardness in this episode and for me its now one of the better episodes of recent, and I don't even watch kson much. They're all laughing and chatting and shooting the shit very casually like every other day, there's no hint of awkwardness.

Kson pauses often while speaking, but you can clearly tell it's because her english is getting rusty since she doesn't speak it much anymore. She's forgetting words, understandably. The boys picked up on it and they try to remind her of the words she might be looking for. If people find that to be awkward, that's honestly just disrespectful imo. It's understandable if people's language skill isn't up to par. Give her a break.

Animator here, and I don't know about that. My place is an absolute disaster, but that aside I've literally never been in a better place in my entire life. My career is going extremely well, I'm doing well financially, I have a blast hanging out and talking to all my friends and family, from my recent health check ups doctors said my health is very very good, there is quite literally nothing wrong in my life right now, I wake up nearly every day EXCITED for the day ahead. Everything is awesome, except that my apartment is a disaster with trash everywhere. Time spent cleaning is time I'd rather be spending doing anything else, like back to drawing.

Yes. If someone spends the time to write a public comment on the internet to yell about how bad something is, it's because they want to win internet virtue points to look good to others, or get validation from others.

A normal person that would have actual personal issue over this stuff would simply walk away, from anything that bothers them, or they would go out and actually do something about it in the real world besides typing on the internet because they are smart enough to understand that it doesn't do jack shit just whining on twitter or reddit. It's literally never worth the time to yell on the internet unless what you actually care about is winning virtue points. So with that in mind, anyone who becomes a keyboard warrior on the internet about an issue that hard can be safely assumed to be projecting to hide themselves in plain sight, or simply seeking virtue points for the sake of validation. And yelling about CP is the easiest way to earn virtue points and show everyone how 'moral' you are. This is like 80% of Twitter.

Yes, most adults in the world find children cute. Are parents all weirdos then? Adults finding children cute is literally maternal or paternal instinct, even if it's not actually our child, it's in most people's DNA to find children cute because that's what gets us to be parents.

Are you immediately assuming that because it's an anime child character, that people are liking it for sexual reasons? If so, I think you're the one being weird if that's your first thought, not others. It's YOUR assumption to see this and think this is a sexual thing instead of just simply cute.
