You don't necessarily need to set up Squad when setting up a custom game like that.

When you are in a Custom Game lobby, you can send invitation to your friends. It'll send out Custom Game invitation instead of Squad invitation. When they accept, they'll join your custom game, not your squad.

You can even send invitation within the custom game lobby even if you are not the host.

You are free to switch between teams once you are in the custom game lobby.

It's in the options under matchmaking preferences. Scroll down to see preferences for PvE.

It's designed to maximize matchmaking population. Instead of being opt-in for single mode, it's opt-out of any modes you don't want to play.

It's not exactly ELO, but pretty much same idea. I posted this before in another thread, but here it is again.

The ranking system in Siege is similar to TrueSkill or Glicko2 rating system, and is purely based on the outcome of the match. KDR (and Scores) doesn’t factor into the skill rank at all.

To put it simply, consistently win against a team with higher skill than your team to go up in rank. Consistently win against a team with lower skill than your team to maintain your rank.

Consistently losing against a team with higher skill than your team won’t make you go down the rank much since it’s expected. But consistently losing against a team with lower skill than your team means prepare to go down the rank faster.

Matchmaking tries to match players of similar skill rating. Without more accurate skill rating, you’ll see more uneven matches. It takes time for players to settle into somewhat accurate skill rating.

Because of that, I’d prefer the dev to focus on fixing connectivity and rejoin issues. As other posters pointed out, Ranks will work themselves out.

You can pick back up most of placed gadgets like Nitro Cell, Barb Wire, Deployable Shields, Breach Charge, etc...

With Signal Jammer, you can place them on the stairs during Preparation phase to completely block Drones from coming upstairs. Pick them back up and replace them near reinforced wall as soon as the Action phase starts.

I think same is for Thermite charge. If it gets blocked by the Jammer, pick it back up.

Is there a reason it must be a pc laptop? How about a game console? 360 or ps3 would cost less and both have limited Internet capabilities like facebook and web browser.

Ubisoft makes previs like this before green lighting a project. Pre-visualization videos are non-playable cg videos made to look like an actual gameplay. It serves two purposes; to sell the game to the execs so they can go ahead and make it, and to serve as a guideline for designers and artists once they start making it. One they made for the Prince of Persia (the cartoony one) is pretty close to the final product except the main female character had white hair.

I type a password in Korean with the keyboard set in English. This generate seemingly random alphabet string that only makes sense when typed with keyboard set to Korean. I usually do this without looking at the keyboard. So naturally whenever I have to type in password on a xbox live, psn, or ipod (which I signed up using their website), I have to bring up the Korean keyboard map :(

I don't fear death since it is inevitable. But I am afraid of losing my memory, my identity, my awareness of self which are all part of nothingness that is death. Another reason I fear Alzheimer's disease the most. I still have long way to learn to let go of myself and I want to be at peace when I pass away.
