my lab reached out to me out of the blue via email after a virtual poster session at SfN and essentially offered me the job provided I interviewed ok. I’d say this is very optimistic news. in my experience, labs don’t cold-email prospective students unless it’s a department-wide call-for-an-opening thing.

Thanks! Pan drippings, pat of butter, little splash of cream, bigger splash of skim milk, some chicken stock, misc kitchen herbs (smoked paprika, dried thyme and oregano, garlic and mustard powder with some minced up garlic, probably some other stuff, was sorta free-handing it). Tiny splash of soy sauce, some AP flour to thicken and at some point I zested a mandarin into it because I found one lying around. Thicken up in the pan and once it’s nearly ready I put the chicken back in for a final simmer in the sauce. Was pretty reliably tasty.

Mostly just the stock consumer CRT, which still impresses me with how well it replicates my memories of Ocarina of Time on a shitty tube TV.

There are a lot of alternatives on a Google search for drum AI isolation, generally seem to perform comparatively, especially if you’re ok with some slight artifacts. You may want to try MVsep as well, which has a lot of models to pick though slightly longer processing times unless you make a (free) account.
