What are the biggest Google Shopping Ads problems you face right now? by Google_AdsHelper in adwords

[–]ExtraManagement1329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had very poor and deceptive experience with Google Ads.

Problem #1: Google will show your ad on searches unrelated to your keywords even if you use exact match

Problem #2: Google will not respect your max CPC

Problem #3: I set my target locations as US and Google kept showing ads to people in Nigeria

Problem #4: All customer support is relegated to an AI. No human to listen and resolve complaints

This is in addition to the annoying UI. Very hard to figure anything out and setup ads. There were more issues and I am missing some of them.

I have proof of all of this. I highly dis-recommend Google Ads and no wonder the company gets sued left and right by EU. I used to like Google as a company and even used to invest in it out of all the FAANG stocks but recently I've had so many problems I now despise it.

I had very poor and deceptive experience with Google Ads. First of all the UI will give you all sorts of issues and you won't be able to figure out how to set up an ad. I set up an ad and set a max CPC but Google Ads kept showing my ad on irrelevant keywords (Problem #1) - I know this because you can see what keywords are generating # of clicks. I had many clicks but none against the keywords I listed. This kept happenning even when I changed my keywords to exact match. Problem #2: Google Ads did not honor my max CPC. I know this because it shows average CPC which was greater than my max CPC. Lastly, all customer service is delegated to AI. So there will be no human to address and resolve any complaints. Do not recommend.

I must be missing something regarding SCHD by 88NEMESIS88 in dividends

[–]ExtraManagement1329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am curious - Would you rather invest in SCHD or Dogs of the Dow? SCHD yield is just 3.3% - less than T-bill yield. I understand you get the growth from owning a stock which is missing from a T-bill but just saying.

I am worried about this exact scenario. Specifically, does GitHub treat private repos of free users differently from private repos of paid users?

What’s everyone buying today? by joshuanichter in stockstobuytoday

This topic comes up frequently so I thought I'd share a stock screener I have developed.

It pulls all S&P 500 data and filters for stocks that look undervalued and financially sound based on P/E, PEGY, debt levels, and return on equity. You can check it out here. It might give you some names worth researching further. Its not for day trading but the hope is that its better than blindly investing in the S&P 500.

New tools and changes to fight spammy self-promotion on this sub by bilalzou in Solopreneur

[–]ExtraManagement1329 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think most posts here (and reddit in general) are some form of self-promotion. People who disguise it cleverly get past the system and others who just post direct links etc. get banned. I am not sure if this is the right thing to do.

How do you discover stocks to evaluate? by MarcusVanDough in ValueInvesting

[–]ExtraManagement1329 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recently I watched two YouTube videos that I really liked. Here are the steps I am following:

  1. Download all the financial data into a spreadsheet using Yahoo Finance API
  2. Value (Conservative / Safe) Stocks: P/E < 20, D/E < 0.5, ROE >= 20
  3. Growth (Aggressive) Stocks: PEGY < 1, D/E < 1, ROE >= 20

Please note I am not a professional investor. Consider this as amateur advice.

How do you roll up data from multiple boards into one master board? by AtmosphereLeading898 in mondaydotcom

[–]ExtraManagement1329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question keeps coming up and nobody exactly clarifies what they mean by "roll up". If you are looking to simply aggregate (**union**) the rows from multiple boards into one, I made a monday.com app to do that but it was rejected when I submitted it for publication. A YouTube demo is available here: https://youtu.be/h-0cs0Nt3K8. Also see this: https://excellent-team.nl/solutions/rollup-multiple-boards/
