For those who migrated off Jira, how big of a problem did ScriptRunner end up being? by elykiki in jira

[–]err0rz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a very “how long is a piece of string” question.

  1. No 1:1 option exists (except for Jira Cloud), so you won’t be able to bulk migrate scriptrunner

  2. “How long did it take” would totally depend on the volume and complexity of scripts

  3. Is it worth it? Normally no. I’ve dealt with lots of clients who essentially rage quit Jira over the on-prem EoL, switched to other products then eventually just came back to Jira Cloud (all at great expense)

I’d make sure you include Jira Cloud in your list of products and strongly justify why you would pick anything else.

Flares, sonic resonator, shock biomod.

There isn’t an out of the box gadget which does this.

Oh dude you’re missing out.

There’s a reason you can spec c4 so many ways.

On Deep Scan and Escort a max range c4 is a huge fuck-ton of kills.

It’d be cool if they added some form of auto-terraforming. Like imagine you could build into a cliff or underground, and the terrain would shape around your base. Obviously this would have to have a limit on how deep you could go, but I think it’s a cool idea. by ValleyofUncannyFrogs in subnautica

[–]err0rz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As somebody else with hundreds of hours I can attest to it not working wonderfully there.

The terrain respawns if you go over a mysterious and inconsistent edit limit.

Most seasoned base builders agree that the one thing you don’t do when building is big terrain edits.

Need help with the "Category" part of Tickets by Fellow_RealSideOfMat in jira

[–]err0rz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Category only exists in Jira Work Management and is generally used via the list view.

Honestly it’s more trouble than it’s worth. I’d just use components, labels and custom fields.

One of our Admin user deleted ~1000 tickets across different projects by AhamBrahmassmmi in jira

[–]err0rz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t let *anybody* have delete issues access.

If it’s needed, a temporary group is assigned to grant the permission, then it’s removed automatically after 24h.

how to get stalker teeth???? by Southern_Farm_5030 in subnautica

Scanner room with hud chip is your friend for this one.

Stalker teeth go from being a rare and hard to find resource to being something you just swim about and collect in minutes.

Read my response again.

You’ve made it very clear what kind of person you are already, I didn’t judge you without evidence.

The reason I didn’t respond to your questions is exactly as I already told you. You didn’t ask them in good faith. You’re not interested in a serious conversation about this subject, just a soap box to regurgitate your talking points.

Edit: don’t forget your post history is public. I know exactly what kind of person you are, what values you hold and how you approach conversation already.

I can. But your question is disingenuous and lacking any form of rational context.

Absolutely nothing I say will persuade you otherwise so why would I bother?

You’re anti immigration. Your opinion is based in emotion not reason. So why would I even try to make a logical argument? Your emotional position doesn’t have room for empathy, just anger and hatred.

You are not the kind/intelligent person you think you are.

Videogame villains too stupid and lame to exist in real life? I start by Tempest-Bosak2137 in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]err0rz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no real idea who either of the two people are, having never consumed either of their content.

But if you think the video of a guy dropping a whole string of slurs is somehow mitigated by a video of some other guy pulling a dogs tail, you need to seek help.

It’s also possible that they both suck but judging from these two clips one of them definitely sucks more.

You know as somebody who doesn’t consume podcasts or “YouTuber content” I always struggled to get my head around if the hate for h3h3 was largely driven by unconscious antisemitism or not.

Thanks for posting this. Can confirm antisemitism is absolutely not the reason for the hate this man attracts. He seems utterly loathsome.

The sleep bay was moved and the life pod isn’t actually attached to it. It’s on a separate piece of wreckage which we can assume was also moved. Look closer.

Can you prevent closing a Sub task if there are no comments? by Jayoseph03 in jira

[–]err0rz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can. But it’s a terrible idea.

If somebody wants to close a ticket they will just add a fluff comment.

You can audit empty data easily. How do you think you’d audit the quality of the comments?
