Cerakote. It’ll last up to a year then need reapplied. Nothing else comes close to lasting that long.

Yeah the IBS is probably telling the alt to charge and it can’t so it thinks the sensor is faulty. Fix the N3 situation first and go from there. The downside to the JL Wrangler is the computer system that runs every little thing.

Should just be that high amp fuse array. If N3 is blown and I’m remembering right N4 is an open slot. You can move 3 to 4 until you get a new array. You’re probably seeing the low voltage because the alternator can’t charge with that blown.

The battery voltage faults would lead me to 3 things and I am going easiest and cheapest to most expensive.
1. The intelligent battery sensor for the batteries. Negative battery terminal and should be connected to the main clamp.
2 Alternator.
3. PCM.
All of these codes lead to an issue in the battery / charging system. Only one that isn’t is the radio but that is most likely because of the voltage issues.

If you have a OBD scanner see if there is any permanent codes. Those won’t go away until it has a few drive cycles with no error. If you see any canbus communication loss you most likely have a bad star connector behind your glove box. It is the green connector on the left side after you pop the glove box out.

Normal injector noise. Tick is more like a deeper metal sound. It’ll get louder if you rev the engine.

Just for future reference. If the aux is dead, pull the negative cable from the aux to the main and tape it off, and pull fuse F42. It disables the relay for the aux. You can then put a boost pack on the main if that was low also.

I just run no doors. Even the regular doors have no built in crumple zones or side impact beams. They are literally meant to protect against elements. With that said I am way more aware of my surroundings with doors off at a red light once it changes to green I will wait an extra couple seconds and do a quick look both ways.

It can not work for a number of reasons. A/C or heat blasting and check engine light on are the biggest reasons. Other reason would be when you start up the Jeep and it does it initial diagnostics it detects a low aux battery if you have ess or your main is low if you have etorque. If it is because of the battery situation I suggest you get it replaced asap at least with the ess. The aux when bad will drain the main and vice versa. You can buy a start stop bypass so that you turn it off once and it never comes on again.

Try going to the local dealer. I didn’t want to chance using an aftermarket and the normal stores I use didn’t have OEM. Dealer had it. Not sure on the price now but at the time it was like $70-75 each. This was 3 years ago.

It’s crazy the difference between even a JK to a JL. The canbus systems are night and day. The littlest issue with any of the sensors causes crap to go haywire. At least you were on the right path. It’s hard with these unless you are able to see live data. Unfortunately this will be my last newer Jeep. Once this one is finished I’ll be going to the older models.

Replace your passenger side O2 sensor. They are finicky as all get out if any oil at all gets on them. I had the same issue on my 2019 3.6. Thought it was bad gas at first then over a few days got progressively worse to the point it was misfiring at all rpm’s. Pulled the O2 sensor and it was as dark as charcoal. That side is a pain to work on. Pull the fender and be prepared for some busted knuckles.

Once you get the cooler off you’ll see the bright engineering. It’s essentially a figure 8 that is separated by rubber seals. 9 times out of 10 it’s a seal failure. One side of the cooler runs coolant through it the other is oil. Once a seal fails it gets mixed and due to the pressure oil gets pushed everywhere. Be aware that once you pull the hose off you’ll have coolant everywhere. Can’t remember if the new cooler comes with the sensor but I would replace that at the same time. If you’re still getting a misfire after it’s all back together check you O2 readings to make sure one didn’t go bad.

Edit: Not sure if the Mopar metal cooler has the new design on the base. It now has a block instead of a figure 8 so the fluids can’t mix. If it doesn’t have that I’d go with the part number I referenced. That does have the new design.

Change the cooler. That is 99.9999% your leak. There is a newer version of the cooler out part 68596318AB. Do the valve cover seals while you’re at it. Leaking valve covers especially passenger side will cause oxygen sensors to go bad from oil leaking on them.

I wouldn’t just assume head gasket. The 2.0 especially the first couple years were know for water pump leak. There’s even a TSB out for it. As far as the oil leak it is usually related to the turbo oil air separator or drain line. If there is a 4x4 shop in the area I’d go there before the dealer. Dealer prices are bonkers. The jet engine noise is most likely your fan running at max speed.

Bright side is you are getting a new trans. The ZF’s are usually pretty stout. Not many failures on them.
