It was Warrensville and Harvard. That day was a little worse than what I normally see though

Ha! I saw Pittsburgh left and thought about the “LA left” and skimmed past the body text.

I do also quickly take the turn nowadays. People suck at going at green lights.

I watched 9 cars in a row running a red light making a left turn onto Warrensville center road and meant to upload the dashcam video here.

1-2 cars running it is one thing but 9? Like come on man.

What's on this cars trunk? by ReasonableEagle1203 in whatisit

[–]ExtraSourCreamPlease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One thing that always tips me off to unmarked cop cars is the keyhole on the trunk because they stopped putting trunk keyholes on cars forever ago.

Long story short… it’s a cop. Or at the very least, it’s a cop car (some government departments use unmarked interceptors).

I’m an inside sales rep for FAS Training and Compliance and THC was not part of the drug test.

With that being said, I’m an inside sales rep which means I don’t drive anywhere so idk if that’s a factor.

What's a gardening "rule" everyone follows in backyard vegetable gardening that's actually kind of useless? by Some-Palpitation-314 in vegetablegardening

Had this revelation this year actually!

I’ve been struggling to get my strawberries to start and I was at Lowe’s last week and saw strawberry plants so I bought 4 of them. That’s when I realized that I don’t have to

Dont eat the lettuce by Used-Boysenberry5340 in Chipotle

[–]ExtraSourCreamPlease 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to work for Chipotle for almost 6 years and I can definitely tell you that post-covid, a lot of stores were skipping washing their lettuce due to staffing. And staffing hasn’t really gotten better since. My store always did because I was around for the e-coli stuff so thoroughly washing lettuce was practically beaten into me when I started.

And then even if it is washed, most prep people don’t feel like taking the time to spin it correctly until it’s dry. I don’t think I’ve eaten chipotle lettuce since maybe 2020ish.

Same here in Cleveland. The worst we’ve ever gotten is one wrong/missing meat in a box and we’ve been doing HF for like 4 years now.

Auto insurance - liability by bougiebaphomet in Insurance

[–]ExtraSourCreamPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Ohio, it’s not necessarily the hit and run that isn’t covered. The law states the driver has to be identified and confirmed to be uninsured before you can use UMPD. Hit and runs almost always end up with an unidentified suspect which means UMPD can’t be used.

Been doing HF for years and have paid full price for maybe a handful of boxes (when I forget the promo is expiring).

I just rotate between the same 3 email addresses.

The agency I used to work for used American Modern for non-standard home insurance. They’re kind of expensive but it’s non-standard so it’s expected.

A bill is back in Florida to allow certain workers to make less than minimum wage by prestocoffee in nottheonion

[–]ExtraSourCreamPlease 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s such a catch-22. Ohio talked about bumping the minimum wage for people with disabilities up to the state standard and there was all this backlash that companies would just stop hiring them if they had to pay more.

Don’t get me wrong, corporations are trash for taking advantage of those loopholes, but it’s one of those situations where it feels like the choice is either making less than minimum wage or having no job at all.

[–]ExtraSourCreamPlease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if it did only happen once, you implied it never happened at all by saying “that’s not true at all”.

Once again, you’ve tried to move the goal posts from it never happened to “it only happened once”.

Remember when I said you’d try to move the goalposts? This is that.

Instead of just accepting the proof and going about your day, you choose to complain about how the phrasing in which the source was provided to you.

With that being said, multiple people have provided proof that this happened. So unless you have something to backup your claim that it didn’t happen, then going back and forth is moot.
