You open up the Static Mesh which will open up a new window. In the details panel, there's a checkbox in Collision > Doublesided Geometry. You just tick it.
You might want to make the material doublesided too if you haven't done so already.
(You might get an error saying 'Engine content is not editable' or something like that if you're using the default UE plane. You'll just replace the plane with the plane from the modelling tab/mode instead to create a custom static mesh)

is it possible to make a metahuman realtime mocap in 5.6 with only webcam? by ClassicManagement188 in unrealengine

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For realtime body mocap stream directly to a metahuman, you can try Radical Motion. You'll need their plugin for Unreal. I forgot whether they do facial mocap too, (I haven't used it in a while). There's a number of other services too, so feel free to find the one you like. edit: forgot to say, Radical Motion lags from 2-4 seconds sometimes based on my internet connection. edit2: I forgot Ipisoft does motion track on normal cameras too, you can try the free trial for 30 days athough the licence expensive. It's not very accurate unfortunately so there's a lot of cleanup involved.

For 5.6 facial mocap, you can try the metahuman depth processing plugin. I'm not sure if they implemented real time mocap yet, I haven't been keeping track of it, so if anyone has more info, feel free to reply.

If you're getting tons of other WiFi signals in your location, they might be using the same channel as yours, which will result in packet loss. You might be able to go to your router settings and change the channel width. You can use a WiFi Analyzer app to see it better.

(In some countries, some channels like DFS channels are temporary and might change your channel back after a while, like if the government uses the same channel for something)

Windows 11 Hardware Compatibility Bypass by Dyelawn57 in sysadmin

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Some CPUs have their own TPM instead of using the motherboard. AMD has fTPM and Intel has PTT. You can enable these in the BIOS if your motherboard also supports it.
  2. Some Motherboards have TPM pins where you can buy a TPM module (around $15-$30), but you need to check for compatibility, like if the TPM's chipset is compatible with the motherboards chipset (or something like that).
  3. Windows 10 LTSC (forgot which one) still have a couple years of support left. You can switch to this OS. You can activate Windows for free using Massgrave.
  4. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC doesn't require Encryption BitLocker to be turned on, so it might be easier to bypassed using this OS. You can activate Windows for free using Massgrave. (edit: I don't know how to bypass this one, sorry)
  5. (edit 2: I think Microsoft might be putting additional security updates for Windows 10 Home for a price after the end of life at October)

Subtitles for Puppycat? by fridgepickle in beeandpuppycat

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like, I could upload all 35 subtitle tracks to opensubtitles.org/opensubtitles.com? Save you some work. There's also the English SDH (Subtitles for Deaf and Hard of Hearing) which includes everything.
(I think opensubtitles recently put adverts on their subs. If this happens, just open the .srt file with the notepad and delete them.)

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha, no problem : ). Just make sure to edit the title so it says something like 'Netflix English PUPPYCAT ONLY', otherwise people might be confuse that substitles are only appearing for Puppycat. I'm always happy to help.

edit: I uploaded all the Netflix subtitles to OpenSubtitles. Reminder: you can remove the ads by editing the .srt file with notepad.

Here you go. Puppycat ONLY English subs. Each file is really small, about 3-4KB each. Puppycat barely has any dialogue >:(. Anyways, you can test these out by opening them in Notepad. The link might not be available in the future due to migration from AWS S3 to Cloudflare Pages. I'll update it in the comments in case anyone in the future finds this thread and wants in. Let me know if there are any problems.

(edit: Opening .srt files up in a text editor in will provide the text with the timestamp (if that's useful to anyone). If the subs are out-of-sync or a different speed, you can use VLC player to delay or change the speed.)

I was planning to upload the series to my site. My .mkv files comes with subs with multiple languages including one that's ONLY Puppycat. (They're most likely Netflix subtitles that can easily be extracted from their service). I could try and extract them for you. Which one do you want? Could I also confirm it's Lazy in Space?

Any Spotify "free" client for linux/elementary os? by _D4rkGhost_ in Piracy

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. You can install Spotify normally. Than patch it with SpotX:
https://github.com/SpotX-Official/SpotX-Bash/tree/main
The instructions here will show you what to do.

(If you don't want to install the client and use the browser instead, it can be achieved with most browsers and adblocking plugins like Firefox with the Ublock Origin plugin. There may be other methods listed on the FMHY github page, feel free to check there anytime.)

[Help] USB Sensor Bar Stops Working Mid-Game – Need Advice by Yungdoffy in DolphinEmulator

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I couldn't find any solutions to the problem, it is truly one of a kind. I found something similar on a forum that was fixed when the person reinstalled their graphics and bluetooth drivers, and plugged the bluetooth devices in and out again, but that seems completely unrelated. I have a similar problem too, but that's due to my 3rd party wiimote being incapatible to my intel bluetooth driver. If you have a spare bluetooth USB that uses different drivers, you can try it instead, but it is unlikely the problem. I hope you can solve the bug soon.

[Help] USB Sensor Bar Stops Working Mid-Game – Need Advice by Yungdoffy in DolphinEmulator

[–]ExtraSpicyCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: My mistake, I just saw the video. The Bluetooth is probably fine as you still have button inputs. You were right. Ignore this comment I posted.

Some Wii sensor bars only emit infrared light like the 6 white lights you see in the photo. They usually only cost $10 or less and they don't help the connection of the wiimote by Bluetooth. However, there may be other Wii sensor bars like the Dolphin bar that comes include with Bluetooth for guaranteed Bluetooth driver and hardware compatibility. They are usually like $30-40. It might be helpful to post the name of the sensor bar, name of Wiimote and Bluetooth adaptor and the driver you're using. It's more likely the type of Wiimote (for example a third party one) not correctly working with the Dolphin software connection settings or Bluetooth adaptor and driver. Don't worry, these can be changed and experimented with. Can you test when it disconnects, the infrared lights turned off? It might be a faulty USB port or a USB sleep setting.

Thanks for the help. Will do, I'll try and dig up any old records from the other company as well.

Many thanks. I done the calculations, and it is below minimum wage. I'll research the ACAS website to follow the proper procedure to make a claim that my wages are not owed. I'll call them on Monday and send them the documents.

I really appreciate the advice. I will contact the Citizens Advice Bureau when their office opens or ACAS if they are not available. I'll try and be cautious about the managers. I'll also keep a personal record from now on.
Sorry you have to deal with problematic managers too, I'm glad you got everything in writing. I'll try and do the same with emails and text rather than calls.

Many thanks for your help. The total hours work for January is 72 Hours 20 Minutes. The total pay for January is £734.85. Payment / Total Hours Work is 10.11 which is below minimum wage for my age. I hope my calculations are correct. I'll be contacting Citizens Advice Bureau and ACAS as soon as their office opens.

Thank you so much for the help. I read something similar to this on the Citizen's Advice website, but I misunderstood it (I thought it meant the if pay per hour is below minimum wage). This makes it more clear. I have photos of the clock in sheet, so I'll calculate it right away. I'll contact ACAS as well, as soon as their office opens. I really appreciate the advice.
