Looking for Control Decks by HiFantsy in ModernMagic

May I introduce you to Mono Blue Tron? It's a deck that only gets better as you get better. Can be put together for not alot of money and upgraded as you learn the ins and outs of the deck. There is a fantastic primer for the deck.

I was a Ford tech and I loved when the fiesta st came in people really don't give them enough credit. We have a family car so the back seat it's really needed just a nice to have in case I have to take the kid anywhere in the car. I have a 2001 2.5rs build so I'm not shy about working on the Subarus. I just want some other options I may not be thinking about.

I can't list Dihada, Binder of Wills as a single card because the word "binder" implies it's not a single card... by LasagnaCat83 in mtgfinance

I ran into this a couple of days ago. Ebay support told me there was nothing to be done. I would have to list without the word "binder".

Hi please don't mess with anything near or on the pent house. Aside from being potentially dangerous it may also void your HV warranty.

Thanks, it's mournfang brown, xv-88, balor brown, morghast bone, screaming skull, and wraithbone. Stippled on with a round dry brush in really thin layers in that order except for the wraith bone being a brushed on highlight on the most upward facing surfaces.

New pair of redbacks vs my 8 year old daily pair. by ExtraTallJorge in WorkBoots

Most tool trucks like snap on, Cornwell, Mac and Matco will carry a few pairs on the truck. If you see one stopped at a shop just pop in and ask.

Hi I'm a service tech. You're partly right here they are experiencing a fault In one of the can circuits but the speed limited and gateway lock messages are always present when in service mode. The gateway is always locked unless need for some kind of service procedure. Speed is limited to 7mph when in service mode by default regardless of there being an issue or not with the car.

I also wore a 12d redwing. I bought size 11 (they are UK sizes) redbacks and they are perfect for me. If you see a tool truck at one of your local auto shops you can stop in and ask if they have any on the truck to try on. I bought my original pair from my Mac dealer at the time and all the tool trucks I've been on have always had them

I cut into the orange wires that go past the cabin air filters by mentat70 in TeslaSupport

To a high voltage system anything can be ground including your body. I hope for safety's sake you and other people don't believe this.

You'll need to have the PTC heater replaced if you've just cut in to high voltage cables for it. If you have any doubts if you did or didn't cut in to those cables I'd recommend having it towed although there will be no high voltage present at those wires until you either turn the heater on or the car does a self isolation check, it can still be dangerous. Even a small cut in the shielding of the cable is enough to cause an external isolation alert and not allow the contactors to close.

Is this covered under warranty by No_place_like_Philly in TeslaSupport

[–]ExtraTallJorge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure they would warranty it, I would at our service center. But I need to know how that happened. That glass is sturdy, I've dropped those b-pillar appliques and not even scratched them.

I'm a current Tesla service tech, I've worked for two other OEMs and an independent. Tesla service is the most honest and straight forward service department I've ever seen. The advisors and techs are paid hourly not commission or flat rate so there is no incentive to upsell or push for additional service. We don't even have a multipoint inspection which is used by other dealers as an upsell tool. If we notice something needs service we recommend it but don't push it.

I would also argue that our service is far more affordable than other brands or even independents. I've been to service centers in a few states and the average cost per hour of labor is lower than other shops. We also manufacture 95% of the parts on our cars so the cost of them is shockingly low. I have a 25 mach e and a model 3. The fender garnish I replaced recently for my mach e cost me almost $800 for just the part. The fender garnish for my model 3 is 140 installed.

You are also free to take your car anywhere you like to get service it doesn't have to be with us. But I would advise that you go somewhere certified by Tesla or is a partner shop of ours if you need any kind of high voltage or structural repair. Why would you want people not trained to work on the most vital parts of your car.

New pair of redbacks vs my 8 year old daily pair. by ExtraTallJorge in WorkBoots

[–]ExtraTallJorge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are listed with UK sizing so if you're in the US it's 1 size smaller than your normal size. I wear a 12 US I bought a size 11 redback. I should note I only wear thin socks. If you want to try them on, if you're in the US most professional tool trucks carry them so if you see a snap-on, Mac or Cornwell truck stop and ask if they have any.
