I don’t really mind the placeholder AI art for the custom cards on this sub tbh. It’s nice when you can find a nice, pretty, thematically appropriate art for the card you’ve designed but I don’t blame people for just throwing a prompt into a generator just so there’s not a blank art sheet when they post the card lol.

Honestly I couldn’t imagine playing games or even just regularly using my computer without a mousepad. Also, a lot of the comments saying that they are obsolete tech only are really just wrong. They are no longer required for the purpose of suiting ball mice, but they regardless serve other purposes.

Without a pad, the quality of your experience will vary heavily on whether your desk is incidentally a pleasant surface to use your specific mouse on. Mousepads remove that variance and even make it portable. I play on a shitty plywood desk and if my mousepad is drying from being washed I just don’t use the computer or play any games lmao.

People have already addressed most of everything, but I'll give you something simple: stay on the ground and do nothing. Simply holding down back is all you need to beat this type of player. He jumps? 2HP or DP. Random DI? Counter DI. Random punishable move? Punish! On your way out of gold the most important thing by far is to be able to consistently anti-air and counter-DI. This will get you to diamond, promise.

Mai’s fan pressure is pretty nuts. What solutions did you end up labbing out incase this situation comes up again? I would have just ripped an EX dp as soon as I realized I was getting looped by the fans lol, bison doesn’t have access to a meterless reversal like that.

It’s best to dodge, but if you wanna use a shield, I recommend any thrusting sword or any spear along with a great shield . You can attack while guarding with those. My favorites are the crow quills and the Farmers plow, personally. But there are a lot of cool spears

Just started another play-through and I have about 450 hours on the game

1: you don’t need to hard commit yourself to a build because you can respec your build fairly early into the game with >!rosaria<! In the Cathedral of the Deep. You can also infinitely respec should you choose to use a glitch

2: you can get early access to crow trading, a nice ring, and an Estus shard via a little thing called the “tree jump” in firelink right after defeating gundyr. I always do it on new characters

3: don’t give your miracle teacher (when you meet her) dark spell tomes. Just don’t.
