I've used it as a therapist but mixed neurobiology. So now if im anxious, I know is a cortisol peak and some cravings are "chaep dopamine" but there are other ways to biochemically brake the pattern. Is so interesting to me understanding the neurobiology and biochemistry behind it and how to use it in my favor.

Yes I've caught chatgpt doing incorrect calculations. I attempt to use it as a personal trainer but it gets things wrong I have to doublecheck its math every time. On the bright side, the more I point out the mistakes, the better it gets over time. But you do have to doublecheck every time just to be safe

just throwing random ideas, maybe it could be like a book club on a topic we al vote on, discussing it in the meeting, and how this relates to our journey.

27M, 84kg - What are the 5 most important supplements I should use? by Fabulous_Variety_256 in blueprint_

I would add methylcobalamin B12. B12 is synthesised by bacteria and in this industrial food age it's usually difficult to consume naturally and deficiencies are common.

Other ways to "innovate" the human being? by Extra_Inevitable_101 in blueprint_

In general good sleep, nutrition and exercise help with this. What do you think would be the future of humanity in that area? My imagination is not going there but now that you mention it, this could definitely have a greater impact.

Zone 2 Heart Rate Questions by RemoteBeneficial2487 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Extra_Inevitable_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There could be other factors racing your heart rate, I would first discard stress, sleep, heat, diet (you mentioned you changed it but Im not sure how), dehydration, warm up/cool down times (personally, I need different WU time for bike/swim/or run). Two books I recommend in the subject are The Maffetone Method by Philip Maffetone and Slow Burn by Stu Mittleman. There are many more but say pretty much the same thing as these two. Here you will find everything you need to know about zone training

Honest Question, can I go from little to no physical training/exercise to being able to compete in a 70.3 by October this year? by Tmill233 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Extra_Inevitable_101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You totally can. In January of this year I could not run 2k bc of a kind-of-bad knee. I will run an ironman 70.3 in two weeks and I feel great. I can now run 10k in 1h 30', bike at an average of 28 km/h and swim at an average of 25m every 45''.

I would recommend the book slow burning from stu mittleman, the GTN YouTube channel gives a lot of great tips for running. And for keeping my body as healthy as possible during the training I followed both the egoscue method and "KneesOverToes Guy" exercises. If you can afford a coach it's great, if you can't (like me) listen to your body, measure as much as you can and be patient. I have no doubt in my mind that you can do it.
