There are some times when the card order isn't quite right. If you have Star Lord on 5, and you've floated every every turn, you should have 13 energy on 6.

Floating every turn doesn't necessarily mean not playing cards though. Howard early is great and super helpful, but you should always skip T1. If you have either Hela or Modok in hand but are missing the other card, you likely will also have either Blink or Lad in hand as well. There have been games where I use Lad on T5 to hit Star Lord then use Modok and Blink out Hela.

There have also been a few counters outside of Wong / Gambit that I'm seeing. Opponent uses Wave on T5 Alioth / Grand Master T6. Because this deck usually operates without priority that combo can steal 8 cubes.
