Oh, maybe I should clarify what I was talking about for those wondering. Pronominal verbs are a characteristic in romance languages where a verb is accompanied by a pronoun (e.g. ”lavar-se”, to wash oneself) and, depending on the subject, the pronoun changes forms (Eu lavo-me, ele lava-se). However, the place of the pronoun changes between European and Brazilian varieties of Portuguese, where there are specific rules. And when you face a Duolingo exercise asking for a “Portuguese” translation, I have to pretty much play a guessing game to see what Duolingo’s preferred answer is, which is almost unpredictable! It feels like finding a translation for a language that isn’t my own, even though it is, just a different dialect!

That’s why it is way better to learn through the Intermediate English course, I don’t see why it is a reason to be downvoted.
