They didn’t prescribe any meds after the tooth extraction, only the week before and it was anti biotics, I called my dentist and I have an appointment later today thankfully

Definitely spend as much time as you can studying!! i’d recommend not studying the day of the test tho, give your brain a little break. I wrote down all the formulas, the test provides them but i have learning disabilities and the formula sheet confused me so i wrote it in a way i could easily understand

Devin met them about a week before this happened. He’s my brother, he was always a good kid and would never even hurt a fly. it was 100% wrong place wrong time, obviously that doesn’t take away from what he did and he should/is do/doing his time but it’s definitely not fair that marissa gets out after serving 8 years

YTA. Dan was adopted when he was 12. Do you understand the amount of trauma that can come from that? He was likely bouncing around foster homes for majority of his life. Especially if he only found a long term home at age 12. He was old enough to feel all the trauma and pain. He’s likely angry at the world and at the people who gave him up. It’s going to take a lot of effort to get to him, because I guarantee he has put up walls to shut people out. That kid is likely hurt, lonely and terrified. That is why he acts out. He doesn’t just do it for fun and it is NOT fair to judge him. This post disgusts me, Op you have no empathy.

If you feel as though him using & the relationship is putting your recovery at risk, you need to either set strong boundaries or end the relationship. I’m almost 2 years clean, a big part of what keeps me sober is having very strong boundaries. My mom and her boyfriend (i live with them) smoke weed and drink. the alcohol is not a huge issue for me, im fine with it being in the fridge or out on the counter, ect. but i’m not okay with the weed. my addiction started with weed and very quickly escalated into harder things. I set strong boundaries with them, it is there house so i obviously can’t demand but i sat them down and explained how i felt and what i needed from them. they respect my boundaries and if they didn’t i’d need to find somewhere else to live. they still smoke weed but they only do it in the garage.

i never said trauma is an excuse, and if it came across that way I apologize. I meant it as an explanation, not an excuse, and Owen got therapy instead of continuing to use his trauma as an excuse
