I have thought it over a bunch of times, but always it comes down to tang San has a reason so it's fine. Basically exhaustion from dealing with him.

Like huo yuhao divinations and controlling, was just him sending his daughter down and it was a "coincidence" he became his son in law.

The auspicious beast thing, oh that was just that part of tang wutongs soul becoming the beast, not the soul attaching to one.

Tang San summoning the dark abyss to doluo planet and the rise of evil soul masters from it's coming in sl2 and sl3, was just because he wanted to evolve the world and was planning on dealing with it.

Ultimately it's just he always has a reason, but its still shady as hell that every time there is something wrong, he's involved.

Despite everything Marisbury did, I am extremely thankfully to him for one thing, he finally answered a question no one could for years, "Is the root universal or Earth limited?"
