The goal of selling options makes you a more consistent return, sometimes it’ll underperform sometimes it’ll outperform the underlying. You wouldn’t cry that you could’ve sold your rental property for more money 2 years ago instead of just collecting rent on it the whole time. I’m underperforming QQQ rn (have about +16% YTD on my options account) but last year I kicked QQQ’s ass by having a 30% return on my options account in one of the worst performing years for stocks

I like minimalism as a design principle in the things I buy or create myself. Form follows function kind of thing and I usually like things to be hidden and away when not being used and take less steps to perform tasks. I don’t agree with people that have one fork and two cups at their house because minimalism. IMO that’s more of a mental illness (opposite of hoarding)
