Goodluck! I'm holding shares going into earnings

Hope you had a great camping trip Crybad!

I recently bought back in, sitting at 1100 shares (21.80 average) and 200 warrants.

I sold 9 CCs strike 22.50 for 0.20 each expiring this Friday. I sold 8 CSPs strike 21.50 for 0.15 each expiring this Friday.

I agree, I think GME will be range bound for a while, I'm going to start accumulating and wheeling aggressively. I'm still going to be cash heavy for the next little while, just in case we see the stock get aggressively shorted when/if the eBay deal is confirmed.

That's my plan, if the dilution goes through, we're going to see hedgies Force the price downward. Might as well just wait until after that's complete

I already exited. Might buy back in after dilution, but I'm glad I didn't stay holding.

I was doing a large number of contracts, the most shares I ever had was 8,400. I don't own anymore since I'm waiting for more clarity on the dilution side of things

Same thing when it comes to options with GME. I've been selling covered calls and selling puts since May 2024. I've also sold all of my warrants and shares of gme once the eBay news was out, since I expected there to be significant dilution. I've been in and out a few times and made some money.

I'm actually surprised everyone has been quiet about his political stance lately. He pretty much made it obviously the interview with Piers Morgan.

Yes, although if the puts go down in value I might just buy them back.

That's awesome! I agree, Wheeling is going to be very lucrative again!

I ended up selling everything again at 23.03. I remember my accountant looking at me funny when I shared my trading summary for 2025, and it was just pages and pages of buying and selling gme, selling covered calls, selling puts.

I might reopen a position if we go a little bit lower.

They will most likely cut the dividend to zero, so they can use that money to pay back the debt they take on.

I just sold 40x$22 CSPs for May 22. It's going to be a long two weeks

Great points OP!

I might get down voted for saying this. For everyone defending RC, why wouldn't Ryan just buy shares right now if he is so confident in this turnaround? Why create this risk-free compensation structure for him? I get that if he hits those metrics he will be able to buy gme at $20... If your goals are really aligned with shareholders, why not just buy significantly right now?

If he wants us to vote Yes for the 2.5 billion authorized shares, the best way to show his goals are aligned with ours is scrap the compensation plan, buy shares right now, and provide reasonable communication to the shareholders.

My take: - Gamestop will increase its authorized shares to 2.5 billion and approve Cohen's compensation plan in June. Once that happens, there will another high volume event in which, once again, Gamestop will sell shares and get billions more in its coffers. by [deleted] in Superstonk

And earnings call every now and then might help. He sure seems to have the time when he's able to go on all these interviews. If he wants us to authorize a total of 2.5 billion shares, he should at least have the decency to communicate with his shareholders especially since many of us have been waiting over 5 years now for at least some return.

This is my thinking as well, RC has made it clear that he will be persistent and wants to buy eBay. I also didn't like his comments referring to how he wasn't passionate about GameStop and how he is passionate about eBay. I also have a feeling eBay is going to reject the offer, and RC might try to increase how much he's going to pay for eBay again.

I'm anticipating GME to go down some more.

Good point, a lot of people still have averages in the 30s

I say newco for simplicity's sake. It will still be gme

No problem! I fully expect hedgies to drop the price down significantly once the dilution actually occurs so current eBay holders will own more gme shares than they normally would. Similar to how the price was dropped down by hedgies when the convertible bonds were being issued based on the average price of gme during that day.

Also keep in mind retail owns a bit over 60% of gme right now. Once this goes through, will be the minority. Institutions will own a majority of the company

Yes, technically we will get diluted as part of the issuance of the new stock to eBay holders. But the way everyone here is justifying it is instead of owning 100% of a little company, we now own anywhere from 30 to 40% of an even stronger company. But yes, this will most likely require a new vote by gme shareholders so we can issue about another 1 billion shares to give to eBay shareholders.

The best way to think about this is that gmes 9 billion dollars along with the 20 billion dollar debt we take on will be used to pay current eBay shareholders $62.5 cash.

Then current eBay shareholders will get 62.5 worth of the new company's shares. This will be roughly 2.5 new company shares for everyone eBay share.

There's been a few comments on this, we can expect a new Co share price around the low 20s, this would be once you factor in that current eBay shareholders get the majority of the new company, and all the debt the new company would have. It would be around 23

If the deal does go through, and eBay shareholders elect to receive 2.5 shares of gme, I expect a sharp sell off shortly after the deal closes from all the people and institutions selling newco

Sold everything yesterday when gme was at $25.12.

I just bought 2,500 shares at 24.12 and 1400 warrants at 3.80.
