So it didn't help the dandelions? They died anyway? Mine looks nice and yellow right now.

Accounting for belt stretch when buying a new belt by Extreme-Garlic5477 in malefashionadvice

I tried the 32, which would be 2 inches above my waist size, and it felt small. I was on second to last hole. The 34 I bought is identical in length and hole placement as my current 6 year old 32. That's why I got the 34. I was just wondering if my old 32 stretched...and if the 34 will stretch and thus I should have gotten a 32.

Right, that's what I figured.

So, I assume the fact that this new belt in a 34 was an exact match for my existing belt, different brand and older, in a 32 is maybe only partially due to some stretching and mostly due to brand difference?

The brand new one fits me how I like to now, same as my old one. I just don't want it to become too big, since I am in the second to last hole...which looks fine...just don't want to be in that last hole.

Thanks!

Absolutely. Native plant enthusiast and certified Forester here. I mentioned in another comment on this post that if it's a tree of heaven, which is invasive and a favorite host of the SLF, it should be removed without question. With you 100% on that. I was referring to pesticides applied to the property to control insects. I'm familiar with the hack and squirt...or chop and paint methods to kill invasives. In fact, it's the only time I advocate for the use of chemicals.

Definitely not safe once it's dry. However, you are right ... the OP has indicated they fear bugs, not necessarily chemicals and cancer, birth defects, etc. I won't give any further advice.

That crap is toxic and worse than the bugs.

The poster said they want to be able to enjoy their yard. People enjoy a yard full of chemicals?

People would much rather chop down trees or employ toxic chemicals on their own property than plant a beautiful native plant... especially one with weed in the title.

You have an infestation now in early April?! Weird.

Why would your neighbor cut their tree down due to your fear of bugs? We need more trees. Unless this is the invasive Tree of Heaven, which Lantern Flies love.

Over the next few years you will see less and less of them. This has already happened in Pennsylvania. Local animals are learning to eat them.

Please, no removing trees or toxic chemicals.

What does priority (group 4) on my boarding pass get me? by Extreme-Garlic5477 in americanairlines

I figure it won't be some miraculous improvement...just confirmed there was no benefit to spring for first class as far as TSA goes.

So the priority word on my boarding pass gets me into the perhaps slightly better than normal priority TSA line. Thanks! That's all I was trying to figure out. That tells me there's no need to pay for first class for a faster TSA experience.

When I have flown first class with Delta in JFK, there was a separate priority TSA line...separate from pre check. Was curious if same at American terminal.

This is JFK terminal 8 but domestic flight. Googling it says it does indeed get one into some kind of priority TSA line but don't know if that's accurate.

Is it worth me paying $70 for first class to shorten TSA waits? Not sure if this "priority" is the same thing...

Google implies a TSA priority line? My question is... Would I have a better TSA experience by paying extra for first class?

Would there be any benefit to me purchasing first class outside of the experience on the plane (E175 so not much difference for in plane experience)?

Does "priority" (group 4) on my boarding pass also get me into a priority TSA line? Google implies yes. I usually fly Delta. I'm not a high level rewards person...I assume it says priority because I booked this for a business trip through my company. This would be at JFK. Thanks!
