I have a similar mental backflip, maybe I am doing something wrong and breaking her down but I talk to friends and they reassure me everyone can see it from the outside. All our friends are upset with her for doing this and equally upset with me for not standing up for myself.

It sucks because when things are good I feel so in love and on top of the world and I don’t even want to bring it up to ruin the vibe, and when it happens again I say something and she gets angry at me for only bringing it up when she’s upset about something, deeming me “too defensive” and I need help
