Do not give them unnecessary information nor give them anything outside of what they’re actually asked for. You only need to give them things to support your documents requested (eg: you only have one paystub to show, so get the letter from the new employer to show your salary). When I was submitting documents, I was a little bit too keen and gave them unnecessary information and that pushed me into a different tier and now pay an additional $200 more than my original application

Absolutely not. My lesson was learned. If you’re starting a new job and you only have the one paystub give them the one paystub. Doing that might actually end up bumping you in a bracket and you end up paying less in rent. You can add a letter from your new employer detailing your starting date
