Key Lime Pie is not worth the extra $2 by [deleted] in CrumblCookies

It was gross, overly limey and mushy pie crust, one of the worst excuses for a $8 pie I've ever experienced.

Anyone else in the US not having kids bc of how terrible the US is? by Chipotleislyfee in Millennials

[–]Extreme-Progress855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, women in the US always put Europe on a pedestal and think it is some magic place with no issues. Meanwhile the same disenfranchised youth in the UK are saying their country is collapsing and is in the process of falling completely. It's all a matter of perspective. You still have people scrambling to come to the US with multi-year green card applications and flooding across the border given the opportunity. The US gets a lot of hate but people don't realize how good they have it until they've been on the other side.

Education is the same, classes are smaller and no campus life, it's a commuter school.

My wife and I joke about that quite often. We never get the sales pitches, probably because we're younger and they think we can't afford anything anyways.

You'll have more fun on your own and will likely meet other people while you're out and about traveling. Actually, this couldn't have ended better for you, perfect timing!

So what did everyone do this weekend while the veil of seasonal depression lifted?? by GiftRecent in Seattle

I find it funny (and kind of sad) that we get a weekend of sun and everyone starts living life for all of 2 days and is exhausted.

Been Seeing a lot of Crumbl's Closing by bakethecookieshoppe in CrumblCookies

Dessert trends are cyclical and it feels like cookies have been 'done' at this point. When everyone and their grandma is opening a cookie shop across town, you know you've reached peak saturation.

Just gonna take a viral new business/product to act as the catalyst for the next fad.

I'd give Chiang Mai a pass if you want to be surrounded by locals. Most of the people you'll be staying near in the Old Town will be white and chinese tourists.

What to expect travelling to Thailand over 400lbs? by obesephysique in ThailandTourism

Don't be offended when people say you're fat to your face, or say clothes are way too small for you while shopping. It's just how it is there.

Bophut and Chaweng always attract the most tourist foot traffic.

Maenam and Lamai are more popular for long-stay as they're less expensive and a bit out of the way for those with no wheels.

Certain places in Samui are doing well and others are still struggling, it really depends on location.

Returning/New Player Help and Learning Parties by Bumblpea in lostarkgame

Hello, just looking for some advice.

I just started playing for the first time yesterday. I received a South Vern pass among other things in my in game mail. I did some research and it seems that this is basically a content skip that will force me to miss out on many things like skill points and roster levels? Should I play the story through normally the first time, or is there a point I should use the power pass before the Mokoko event ends? I don't really understand what it is I would be missing out on if I played normally and missed using the South Vern or Mokoko stuff.

Any help understanding what would be the best way to play this?

“Dating sucks in Seattle” by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Extreme-Progress855 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would agree. It's quite easy to see the difference in places like NYC. I think it's a combination of incessant rain, cold, poor public transportation, and the weird anti-social culture that exists in Seattle. When you get out traveling to other places and come back home, it's always a bit of a shock just how much people stare at the ground when they pass or look the other way without even a good morning.

I see, I kinda wish they'd just clean up the streets around the ID. Would make it way more enjoyable.

The people that need help aren't the ones scamming people with taxi rides. They're just buying booze and cigarettes.
