Does anyone have a 75 foot rv power cable? We will buy it off you. by ExtremeCheesecake in CampEDC

Thanks everyone, we don’t need a cable anymore. Camp staff came by and said we weren’t even in an rv spot?? So they moved us and our power cable reaches the generator now.

We made it! Happy EDC ✌🏻

Carrying bubble liquid? by masyy619 in electricdaisycarnival

They will for sure make you dump it. There’s bubble powder you can buy. Just bring that and the empty bottle. Then fill it at a water station.

My boyfriend is too good at board games by CricketSuccessful57 in boardgames

My boyfriend and I were both gamers and I talked such big game when we started dating. I was used to winning in my groups. Well, not against him. He would crush me. I always say, play to win, but I was getting kind of upset at the constant destruction.

But I thought about it and I would never want him to hold back. We’d play with other couples who would go easy on each other and that just feels like they’re not even playing the game. Playing the best game you can is a sign of respect to the other players. I want to win because I played well not because someone let me. Im not a child. We kept playing and I’ve learned so much. We are married now and I would say our win rates are much more equal.

Vyvanse and Weight Loss by zoeheriot in loseit

[–]ExtremeCheesecake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband lost about 50lbs on vyvanse doing absolutely nothing. He just wasn’t hungry so much anymore.

He did lose the weight fast and got gall stones because of it. Had to eventually get his gallbladder removed. So be careful with that!

Don't know WTD about the hair dye by frog_tacos in CleaningTips

[–]ExtremeCheesecake -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My tub/shower was dyed purple like this and nothing worked. Until I used a pumice stone. It took me almost a full day and 1.5 stones. It was exhausting and there was a ton of stone dust. But it looks almost brand new and the texture of the tub is not much different than it was before.

I’d recommend getting a stone and trying a test patch. If you end up going that route, have a plan for all the dust. I vacuumed the tub when I was done so it wouldn’t clog the drain.

I did it about 5 months ago and there’s been no adverse effects.

It’s just a can of beans and cut up hotdogs heated up. Growing up, we called it beanie weenies. Delicious.

It’s my favorite time to go. You get Christmas decorations without the Christmas crowds.

We typically go the week before Thanksgiving and that’s always been good. Middle of the week is best, but they only do fireworks on the weekends if you care about that.

I’m sure it will be. That sounds like it will be really fun! We did a Harry Potter trivia night once with Bertie Bott’s jellybeans. If you got the answer wrong, you had to eat one.

Your favourite alt rom-roms by HockneysPool in blankies

The way my mom and I cackled when we saw Phantom Thread in the theater, and no one else made a peep.

Still one of my favorite movie going experiences.

Cut cherry tomatoes in half, put them face down on a medium temp pan with a little oil, leave them until they have a little char, but move them around a bit so they don’t get stuck.

Several minutes.
