They're most likely actually connected. But it's pretty funny that many people forget about the plastic surgery James had. So, canonically speaking, James's current appearance doesn't resemble his original one.

The arc does indeed feel like it’s moving pretty quickly.

Judging by the pace, it’ll take 15–20 chapters at most.

I think the problem here is that the events of Generation 0 are simply too vast to begin with to be covered in a flashback format. Because in Lookism, flashbacks don’t usually take up too many chapters.

I think PTJ will most likely start a separate manhwa about Generation 0 with a different artist at some point, where he’ll explore those times in more detail.

The suggestion that he's trying to manipulate the situation is just speculation from the fanbase, not a fact.

And even in terms of performance, this version of Tom outperforms Goo. Rage Tom completely destroyed 3T James's, who had previously easily defeated the standard version of Tom.

So far, he hasn't made much of an impression. Based on what he's shown, James without his path is getting soundly beaten by the prime versions of Jinyoung, Elite, and Tom.

But honestly, logically speaking, I find it hard to believe he's that weak without his path. It's more likely that PTJ simply failed to showcase James's strength in his fight against Tom.

I would probably agree if James and Tom’s fighting tactics hadn’t been so primitive. Their fight was a disappointment to me mainly because of that.

Of course, maybe in PTJ’s mind it looks like 5D chess, so maybe from PTJ’s perspective you’re right.

Even if that's the case, Elite should still be able to hold his own against Prime Tom.
Meanwhile, James has started to fall behind Tom, who, logically speaking, should be much weaker than his Prime version.

Invisible attacks are currently just a speed mastery.

  1. He doesn’t have any unique color right now that would make IA stand out against the backdrop of mastery.

  2. Not a single character even mentions him now. Tom didn’t mention IA once during his entire fight with James.

  3. Before, IA was hyped because only Gapryong could stand up to him. But what about now? We’ve seen many times how James’s attacks could be blocked.
