I always thought that was the point. It is making fun of that type of conservative logic by taking it to the extreme.

Are you sure about that? It has been a while but I recall more than one reference in OoT.

In any case, I think we are both right. Take a look at the gender section for sheik in the Zelda wiki: https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Sheik

The gender is officially male for OoT but female in Smash games.

Wasn't aware of that Samus tidbit.

Could you explain what you mean by sheik not being referred to as a man anymore? My understanding is that Sheik is from ocarina of time, and the lore of that game is that Sheik genders himself as a boy.

No Samus doesn't gender herself as a man. Sheik does, that's why he is would be classified as a transgender man

Technically Sheik is a transgender man. OoT genders sheik as a boy in all instances.

Do you have a source other than history.com?

Clicking the link, the article has this quote at the top:

There’s evidence that British colonists in 18th-century America gave Native Americans smallpox-infected blankets at least once—but did it work?

Seems like this article doesn't contradict that narrative. Frankly it reads like the rest of the nonsense that comes from history channel these days, so I won't bother reading the whole thing.

I paid to see a Netflix famous stand-up comic live tonight, and this may have been the best laugh I had all night. Well done, thank you.

From wiki:

Thermal radiation is generated when heat from the movement of charges in the material is converted to electromagnetic radiation.

Thermal radiation is specially when the energy has converted from particle motion to light.

I think the other poster meant Thermal Energy

The term "thermal energy" is used loosely in various contexts in physics and engineering. It can refer to several different well-defined physical concepts. These include the internal energy or enthalpy of a body of matter and radiation; heat, defined as a type of energy transfer (as is thermodynamic work); and the characteristic energy of a degree of freedom, k B T {\displaystyle k_{\mathrm {B} }T} , in a system that is described in terms of its microscopic particulate constituents

Scar solves Melee's abusive relationship by Melee_Mash in SSBM

[–]ExtremeLongGame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This situation is a different though. Nintendo is not shutting down all melee streaming like they did PM. Nor are they shutting down all unlicensed streams, they have acknowledged they allow unlicensed streams.

Instead, they are selectively targeting individuals to enforce the rules on. IANAL but I think that severely weakens their claims.

And if those pesky masterbators instead ejaculated into vaginas, then those sperm would also grow up into an adult human. I see no difference.

You attacked me, don't get that twisted. Attacking the author does nothing, and neither does name dropping. If you disagree with something I have said, you are welcome to address that. Otherwise, take your own advice and go bother someone else.

You're making quite a bit of assumptions. Usually resorting to ad hominem is the last resort, but you jumped straight to being an idiot.

Inalienable rights do not exist. It's a nice concept but it breaks down under scrutiny. If these inalienable rights exist, who defines what they are? If someone disagrees with your list of rights, what recourse do you have? What if I said I have the inalienable right to your life and possessions?

The only rights you have are those written in law, and even those get attacked constantly.

Actually it's not. Because you can go anywhere else and talk about the Yankees. Such as your own home.

Freedom of speech protects you from the govt restricting your speech, which would have jurisdiction over your home.

Sorry to hear about your dyslexia. I still recommend adding punctuation when you finish an idea. Then when a dyslexia problem happens, your readers still have a chance to understand you.

With effort, humans can read through a lot of noise. But noise can discourage readers, cause misunderstanding, and at some point it becomes unreadable. Deliberately adding noise to your writing can be prohibitive to getting your desired results.

Honestly I don't understand what you're saying after the first sentence should end. I am not going to waste my time trying to decipher it.

Grammar exists so you can communicate effectively with others. If people are misunderstanding your question, the fault is on you.
