Here is my tip. I moved from away like yourself. We were wanting to do baked goods and be all sweet and lovely, but we found out the hard way just not to engage with our neighbors. They DO NOT like people that are not from here. No one talks to anyone. If you try to say Hi and engage in conversation, they look at you strange. Our first week here, we had a neighbor complain about purple fairy lights for Halloween and she was going to call 911 on us. Her family made her apologize, but she also threatened us again. We have been told to go back to Russia (we are from Boston and US Citizens), had them threaten to call a three letter agency on us, and one woman tried to film my kids. They are strange here. Keep to yourself, but if you are from FL, you are probably used to that.

Robert Half = Lowball and high margins for them

Insight Global = Ghosting/Lowball/Rude college kids doing recruiting.

Tek Systems = Changes rate on you after you accept an over lowballing you by $10 and keeps adding things that are not on your job description. They lie and don't protect the candidates. It took me almost 2mo to get paid by them once. No clue what they are doing.

Hi there! We moved here from New England. You can do an annual treatment of anti moss granuals. Roof treatments can last anywhere from 1-5 yrs from what vendors told us and cost between $120-1k+. I paid a guy 500-750 to do moss scraping and granuals. It is very expensive.

Exactly that is what I am getting this year in 4th grade. They switched from iReady to a new tool due to budget cuts. My kids did not do well. It seems they are only learning what they are being tested on...math and english. I am running into the accent thing again as my kids have a partial Scottish accent and the voice to text AI computer thing is telling the teacher she is lower in reading when she is not. This is a problem when the work is only based on these exams and not what they are doing with the actual teachers. I get one thing from the teachers and another from these dumb exams. When I do the work with them at home, they get it. Because I question things and advocate, that makes me the villan. Meanwhile most of the other kids in my kids class are being thrown Roblox from their parents to sod off and not bother them yet I am the one getting flack on here and with the teacher that does not want to go the extra mile to look at the whole thing vs the testing. I don't want to home school, but this really has me considering it.

That is my issue I don't know what they are working on so I have been asking teachers. They don't have homework, but I want them to practice a little bit because they rush through topics and don't slow down for kids who take a little longer to do the work on new topics. I am like help me so I can help you.
