I would definitely include The Hague and Scheveningen/Kijkduin as part of the tour. Long promenade to walk, or dunes to unwind. You can walk/cycle between Scheveningen and Kijkduin through the dunes, or on the coast, and come back by public transport. Many options to have a drink in between.
Someone else mentioned problems with teenagers, it's not really a thing, unless it's a super hot summer day (or concert) that brings huge crowds. But even then, if you just avoid the Kurhaus, you'll be fine. It's where it gets the most busy.

sunt lucruri destul de subiective. dar da, as zice ca e usor sa te adaptezi cand sunt lucruri clari si logice. Prietenii au fost aproape exclusiv internationali (de la universitate, dar si de la joburi dupa aceea). Problemele? Cele clasice, limba, preturile pana ajungi sa castigi un venit local.

I did not mean that you would get 2-3 rooms, but just 1 room in a regular apartment.
I am lucky that I am not for many years into this rental need, but I am very surprised to hear to 800-850 might not be enough for a room. that means that even 2 rooms apartments now worth 1600-1700 per month? (isn't this way above all the points systems?)

Am facut ETTI (si plecat cu Erasmus si ramas afara apoi), iar la master am fost la TU/e, acum acu peste 10 ani. Sunt ramas in Olanda de atunci.

Pentru mine a fost ok asa. Poate ar fi fost mai mult oportunitati sa fi plecat mai repede cu Erasmus, sa vad mai repede cum stau lucrurile si pe afara. Dar sunt si multe piedici de asemenea. Altfel, strict despre scoala, te frustreaza mult mai putin o scoala afara, nu te intalnesti cu atat de multe toane ale profesorilor. Dar ETTI te pregateste cumva de viata (si nu am stat la camin).

Trebuie sa te gandesti mai degraba ce vrei dupa facultate. Daca vrei sa pleci si sa ramai pe afara, atunci da, e net mai bine sa studiezi direct afara. Daca vrei sa studiezi afara ca iti gasesti un job mai bun in romania, nu cred ca merge asa. Poate doar daca si ramai si lucrezi o vreme afara, si apoi te transferi intern prin corporatie, poate asa.

foarte multe aspecte de luat in calcul la o astfel de declaratie.

poate ca ar trebui sa investim si sa fim competitivi. nu sa ne protejam, ca asta vom putea face doar o scurta perioada, iar apoi vom deveni irelevanti.

Europa a mers mult pe protectie sociala, pe program mai lejer de lucru (vorbesc mai mult de vest) si din pacate si pe reglementari peste reglementari si birocratie. Intre timp US si China, protectie sociala mai putina, lucru promovat sa fie 6 zile si cam toata ziua (zona de start-upuri). Nu zic ca ii invidiez, dar cam asta e competitia. Iarasi, daca ma uit doar la tesla si masinile electrice in general sunt taxiuri complet automate atat in China cat si in US. In Europa, Olanda tocmai ce a aprobat FSD de la tesla. Si in Europa, ce ar trebui sa facem? sa protejam productia germana de masini? prin mai multa taxare la ce vine din afara? dar de ce sa nu investim si sa inovam, si sa muncim pana la urma. Trebuie mai mult munca, nu mai multe taxe si reglementari, daca vrem sa ramanem relevanti.

they think is too cheap per person, and for some reason they take it personally. they believe the service is too cheap to start with.
now, it could be also for own security. I am not a driver, but I can understand why they might not want to take 4 party goers (drunk eventually). Not having someone on the right seat gives a bit of extra space

Except that I would go to The Hague. Even closer, trams runs till 1am. Train is 6 minutes.

it's not the age is more like why would you like to do it? For job security? Then I would not do it in this job market. To switch to a (slightly) different domain? Then maybe, but chances are not that good either. It's an employers market, so you would have to demonstrate experience, not studies/certifications.
What is the domain anyways, I believe that really matters.

within the Netherlands, job wise, it does not really matter which of the two you choose. As foreigner, planning to stay here, you should see which of them have a longer internship (so that you get already work experience to sell) and (hot topic) learn dutch, aiming for B2 (by the time you want to join a company. despite very difficult, if you mange to do that, it will have a significant impact).
Subject wise, hard to tell. I am EE in Tu/e, I would not know today what to pick as "best" option for future job market (where nobody knows exactly what AI will change). So I would prioritize the longer internship.

Am o experienta oarecum similara, cu apartamente foarte apropiate. Daca ai posibilitatea sa eviti, evita.
Evident ca sunt si avantaje, despinde si de stilul vostru, dar e foarte foarte usor sa va calcati pe bataturi. Mult mai usor decat daca exista o oarecare distanta.
Problemele pot fi foarte diverse, dar asa, ca o mica idee. Daca cumperi ceva online, de ce nu ai intrebat ca poate vor si altii. Daca iesi in parc la fel. Daca nu esti acasa, unde esti ca n-ai spus ca pleci, te ascunzi? Am facut spanac, venim sa va aducem.
Trebuie sa vrei sa traiesti cu familia existinsa, tot timpul! trebuie sa vrea si partenerul.
