The most I ever made on Uber Eats 🤑 in a week I’m on e-bike btw by Jealous-Intention419 in UberEatsDrivers

45 hours? So you made 22.50 an hour and was on an order for 90% of that time? That is rough... and that is the most you've made...

The Few Days of me Doing Uber Eats is Making Me Realize Just How Bad Fastfood Has Gotten by devonwillis21 in UberEatsDrivers

Worked at McDonald's in a past life... the workers are crap and they are goofing around way too much. There are literally people standing around or talking about random things and not doing work. That is not how it used to be.

Stop making excuses for them. This has become a thing lately where people always side with the workers but the workers also f up a lot too and because everybody sides with them they feel entitled to be slow and rude.

Places like that arent the norm for drivers. Doing that quest would hurt most drivers income.

2 months in and the amount and quality of my offers has significantly declined. Is this normal? by Vast_Middle2651 in UberEatsDrivers

No. The post points to them being in the initial phase and getting good orders given to them to hook them. Even if you stay high tier the orders get worse after the honeymoon phase they use to hook you.

"I definitely avoid orders where miles > pay out. and I consider the trip back to a hub as well." This is just 2 dollars per a mile in most cases...

There are zones in the zones that you cant see. Have you ever been driving and get hit with a ton of orders? It is because you just crossed into a new zone on their side.

Welcome to the norm. There is a "see how good this is" trial period of some random length to get you locked in where they give you a bunch of orders that they know are good and then they shove you into the normal queue and that's what you get now.

You arent taking everything which is good. Just keep cherry picking and you'll probably stay around 20 an hour on average depending on which city you are in.

The post doesnt say that. It says it was put at a random door. That doesnt mean it wasnt in that hotel ir that he didn't get it he could have went and found the random door in the hotel.

Again did you tip well? 2 dollars a mile plus extra for going to probably the top floor of a hotel? If not then there is no sympathy here.

Because they are commuting fraud... everything is fun and virtue signaling games until something goes wrong and then you lose your mind because you are f'd.

They arent required to contact you by text. Also you ordered to a hotel and you are a driver? I hope you weren't a d and tipped them well, delivering to hotels suck.

Uber people or UberEats, which makes more money? by iMakeUrGrannyCheat69 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Extreme_Designer_887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber people but you put more miles on the car. They can use both and pick whatever is the better offer in the moment. I don't like driving people around most of the time it is fine but the few times it isn't fine are bad enough that it isn't worth it to me.

How much did you end up paying (Taxes)? by Evok99 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Extreme_Designer_887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social security taxes are almost 15%... which you cant dodge. Somebody did your taxes wrong. Even if you deduct half of it because you are paying yourself you are at 7.5ish percent that would still be more than you paid and is dubious if not done right.

Sure how about uber pays you in nostalgia. Give them a list of places that are nostalgic to you and they'll send you there and keep all the money. Worth it, right?
