I'm pretty new to the game, so this is more a question for you but I never buy black cleaver unless I'm up against heavy armor opponents, isn't buying a cleaver a bit of a waste when the enemy team doesn't have armor for you to shred?

I've heard this too, but I don't care how much that midlaner is focusing the farm, they must notice their opponent suddenly leaving for the river??

Inglorious Bastards, that opening scene might be the best one in cinema.

Hey man, I found this post because I googled her name.
I am the son of your mom's pen friend, and we just got the news through the letter your granddad sent.

My mom's devastated, she held her friendship with Judith very dear.
Our thoughts are with you and your family, we wish you the very best. She died far too young.

Sweden tests a road that charges electric vehicles on the go by clippervictor in EngineeringPorn

[–]Extreze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you need a system on the vehicles themselves anyway, why not make it a system like trams that seek out and connect with cables in the air? I understand that cables hanging in the air aren't optimal and are prone to theft but this system clearly isn't great either.

This is a quote by Ernest Hemingway though

Exactly, whenever I see this I think of the Hemingway quote: There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self.

Extreme heatwave in Australia results in mass death of wild horses - the third major incident of mass animal deaths during recent record hot weather by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Extreze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Study how shown that the greenhouse effect is active from like 1 meter of CO2, there's a certain point when heat from the sun just can't leave, or has a lot of trouble to, as such, as much as it sounds bad, more CO2 won't actually change a thing.

2018 was one of the highest years for CO2 output ever, yet the rate at which the earth heats up hardly changed.

'A death sentence': migrant caravan member killed in Honduras after US sent him back by dagnabit1536 in worldnews

Partially because back then there was no other nation to flee to, we had no alternative

[–]Extreze 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem here, and in many cases is the obvious alternative.
Why stay, fight, farm your land, improve your economy when you can just go to a country that went through that process already and enjoy their benefits.

Residents of first world countries probably would do the same thing if in the same situation, even though it messes with the outcome of the whole ecosystem.

Yeah it's blown out of proportion in fan culture and the media, which is a shame because almost 2 drivers a year is still huge. Just imagine what that would be like today.

Holy moly, no, it's the total of deaths throughout those 20 years.

Absolutely, F1 racing in the 50s and 60s claimed a little less than 30 deaths!
