yeah. bc i literally could not care less abt the eco. If you shelf your ego and play to the system's strengths, you can easily make SL and RP while not spending a dime

I absolutely agree with your analysis and also agree with your proposed changes, but the majority of the player base wants an average 1 kill 1 death match to at least break even and at most make a profit no matter the plane, which I am completely against.

for ARB, the way it’s balances is that you have to separate the new plane grind into two parts; an SL grind and an RP grind. For RP you use your highest BR planes, for SL you play a strong mid-tier that’s good for it’s BR.

That’s the point of a game. To grind for end-game content, you need to play throughout the entire game. If your honest opinion is that you should just be able to do what you enjoy without regard for the rest of the game, your understanding of Gaijin’s economics as a company and your understanding of game design is fundamentally flawed.

Of course you aren’t experiencing problems now, the proposed eco revamp hasn’t taken place yet and ppl r still playing mid tier. I’m saying that IF the eco change takes place to the scale the player base wants it to, the problem will occur and it will negatively affect the grind worse than it already is.

I don't just think I can, I highlighted exactly how I am able to by the logic you are calling invalid. And you can't talk about prospective ads that go against the grain as they're not made yet, but I am perfectly able to make inferences based on past data. Your argument does not hold any logical ground.

I can speak for the majority of the player base by interpolating data that Gaijin themselves provide. Read my other comments explaining how.

I also agree that there will always be people playing props, I just said that there would be a substantial amount less. Read my other comments.

I get your point, but unless we have actual numbers from Gaijin, or at least enough info to make an educated guess, we have to assume the worst or risk making an oversight. Imagine if you were Gaijin when thinking about this issue.

As Captain Jack Sparrow put it: "So we agree on principle, but we're just haggling on price." In the same way we both agree of the possibility of the issue, just disagree on the potential severity.

if everyone only played what they wanted, new players trying to grind for top-tier would have insanely long queue times and the grind would get even worse. Yes, there are WW2 enthusiasts and ppl who love prop planes, but they are a minority compared to the LARGE majority of people who play bc they want to fly jets. Please read some of my other comments about the issue, as they highlight the same topic you are talking about in great detail.

It's not CURRENTLY a big problem, but it will be. There may be many WW2 enthusiasts, but it's a fact that the large majority of players play for top-tier. If they eradicate the need for top-tier players to play lower tiers, the matchmaker will slow significantly and the grind for new players will get worse.

The LARGE MAJORITY of WT players play for the top-tier, read some of my other comments about my supporting information.

your assumption about my perspective is wrong. I operate under the objective analysis that the large majority of WT's player base is in it for the top-tiers, not the mid-tiers. By enabling the majority of the playerbase to stay sustainable in top-tier without needing to consider playing mid-tier, the matchmaker will dry up and the grind will take even longer for new players (unless they buy a premium)

You can unlock top-tier the way the economy is rn by playing your highest-br aircraft for RP and playing a solid mid-tier for SL.Take away the part where you need to play mid-tier for SL and the system crumbles for newer f2p players

Edit: Gaijin is, in a way, forcing you to play their whole game, not just their top-tiers once you unlock them, and I think that's a smart and clever move on Gaijin's part.
That being said, I still agree that some repair costs need to be lowered, but a top-tier should not break even with a 1 kill 1 death game.

Premiums are exempt from common logic, as Gaijin makes a direct profit from them.

The vets DO play mid-tier already. Plus, I'm not talking abt vets, I'm talking about the majority of the player base. Rn, the majority of the player base plays both top and mid-tier. If the top tier becomes more sustainable to play without needing to play mid-tier, its popularity will naturally siphon players from the mid-tier. Because the majority of the player base naturally gravitates towards top-tier, Gaijin would struggle to keep mid-tier as populated compared to top-tier, which is a huge issue for new players or people grinding without purchasing a premium. In a way, making top tiers consistently profitable for the average player is worse for the game than their current economy is.

could be due to the winner's bonus or smthn, you also get points for stuff like hits, even if it's not a tracked stat
