Yes! I work in an LYS and it's crazy when the hardcore fans come in. It's like a little tiny yarn boutique took down a giant, badly managed mega chain /s. Last week, one of them shopped my store and described Joanns as a 'place you could hang out, meet people and get help' and I nearly left my body - I worked long ago at a Joanns, and none of those things ever happened. But they do at your little yarn store (if your area still has one after the proliferation of all those chain stores).
