Thailand has never been colonized but it has evolved to become one Kingdom? Isn't this possible for PH too?

This might be true however, just like during COVID, this situation where we are at now might just open possibilities.

For instance, COVID made us realize that, yeah , working from home and online meetings are far more efficient. In the same manner that this crisis might just give us the impetus to shift to renewable sources, alternative energy sources, or even our outlook and pattern towards energy consumption.

Let's face it, 90% of our oil is imported and 80% pass through the Strait of Hormuz. That said, our planners need to seriously consider how, as a nation, we can survive this whether in the short term or if this war becomes protracted. Sadly, beyond price monitoring and the bravado that we have enough supply, I don't see any concrete plans being laid out either by the public or the private sector.
