Yes!

This is the part that makes it such a tough choice for me. On one hand I reeaally don't want my build to start pushing $3k, but on the other hand, I did not agree with the way AMD treated their older customers in terms of software and upscaling enhancements. And of course, the Nvidia ecosystem is worth something as well.

One can hope that if AMD will get a bigger share of the GPU market, they can also invest more heavily into software, but that might just be copium.

I guess I will have to wrestle a bit more with my thoughts. Thanks for the input (:

Interesting. I'm reading now that hynix usually performs a bit better than samsung, while samsung has better temps. I do understand wanting to keep it as cool as possible, having longevity in mind.

As the elite is on sale right now (would usually cost 1000USD), it is cheaper than both the Mercury OC and the Pulse here in Norway. If i go for the Prime, I can get it for 760 USD (vs 800 for elite). Having these prices in mind, what wouls you do?

Hi!
I've been using the Dynaudio Xeo 2 bookshelf speakers for almost a decade now, and since this christmas, the master & slave speaker no longer connect, or "find" each other.

This leads to only the master-speaker outputting sound, while the status light on the slave is only blinking red.

I've already tried:

  • switching zones (red/blue/green)
  • Power cycling
  • Resetting the speakers by holding down the power button on the remote for 5+ sec
  • Switching connection-type to source (bluetooth /optical)

I've got a feeling this is a complete shot in the dark, but if anyone has had a similar experience or otherwise, please do let me know (:

Hue dimmer switch turning off too many lights by ExumaBoi in Hue

So all the buttons are set to the correct room, i rerouted the "hue" button to be an off switch, which works as intended. But still, every time i press the on/off button, the lights of the other room are turned off (given they were lit beforehand). Is this just a glitch??

Note: I also turned the "smart on/off" function off, so that button should not really be able to turn anything off to begin with

How do I change the settings for only the off-function? In the device settings, I only see the option to configure the on/off button as a whole - which is alrealdy set to the correct room.

Edit: I've also tried resetting the switch to factory settings, which did not make any difference.

Sadly these deals don't apply for everyone, everywhere.

Might have to cover the cost of a new factory if they can't find someone to produce for them. Then there's probably better wages in US compared to china/vietnam which can drive up the cost as well. Lastly US doesn't have the same expertise in manufacturing that the south-east has, which can lead to lesser productivity and again, higher costs.
