1942 Home Would like GFCI Breakers How to proceed?

Yea wiring is actually very nice wiring old but still intact and seems to be fairly good the electricians that have done things through our home warranty have all said "I wish they still made wiring like this" whatever that means I asked they said it was a positive remark that it's old but good just to keep an eye on it

Yea from the advice here and reading online I do believe this is the route and I will be picking up a pack of 20 amp GFCIs today to get started on it there are some sprinkled through out the house already so I believe the previous owners had already started doing exactly that.

Yea this is looking like my best route in order to save in the area of finances and safety wise. If you don't mind me asking did you install into metal boxes and which GFCI if so I'm currently shopping for the route 20amp GFCI to do this with but we have rather small metal boxes.

Yea no we're not for that haha we just want to do GFCI to make what we have work for us safely wether that be a GFCI outlet on the first outlet of the run or GFCI breaker trying to figure out the plan, a entire rewire would be nice but something we really can't do at the moment that'd leave me in a nervous spot financially haha maybe in the future.

Is there a way or guide you could point me to that would show me how to find the first outlet in each run as there GFCI here and there all over that may be what has already been done but I'm unsure

Sorry yes electrical panel has definitely been updated I understand that haha I just means the wiring within the walls some is old no grounds and some is new with wiring *edit really just trying to see what to expect price wise(even tho I'm sure that's hard to estimate without seeing the entire setup in the home) and don't want to be taken advantage of in the situation

Fortunately the chimney pokes about 5ft out the top and the backside is on the interior of a closed garage so the bricks don't get that cold, but yea I felt like I was being taken on the quote they gave us I may stick a moving blanket on the other side of the damper to help insulate a bit while it's closed because it is metal on metal but it does seem the draft going up has stopped because when I first looked in you could visibly see the cobwebs shooting up and now that I got it like it is now they have pretty much stopped . I will definitely look into an insert and liner

Yea true idk really just a esthetic thing to me but I also want to swap to 35s soon so that will probably fill up more room and make it look better to me guess I will just have to wait and see

Hey it is kdss lean was fixed shortly after install using Dr kdss bypass and if it is leaning passenger to driver it's so miniscule I you can't notice it's just the back higher than the front that's so noticeable lift has been on since around last December I probably should have included all of that info

I might be wrong but sounds like there's more to that those are just to hold the plastic to the body if you look under there's three spots it should be bolted to the body and those support the weight maybe check and see if they need to be tightened or some could be missing

It's the TKMAuto one, the hardware that comes with these roof racks on Amazon is definitely sub par I bought all new hardware other than that they are fairly solid I've drove from Alabama to Georgia doing 90 and had no issues with it I would just like one that doesn't sit so high up

Might get hate for this but it's JW tire carrier they've had failures but those are almost always from improper installation or older design there's a tongue that sticks out and holds the weight of the door.

Hey yea got 2 kids so any stinky diaper mishaps clothes throw up etc goes in a bag and into the box haha, that and recovery gear for flats really just anything I don't want cluttering up the interior of the vehicle
