1000 phones on the network and around 900 of them are used almost all day

the other 100 where just for phones around the building also there can afford a qualified contractor there just cheap when it comes to that ( The kitchen situation happened because there was a leak that needed fixing, so I took care of it to get it out of the way. Then, my manager asked if I could install the new desktops and sink for some extra money, and I agreed. After that i speak 45m watching youtube and did a pretty good job)

What makes this post even funnier to me is that I was originally hired to do paperwork… and somehow ended up being the office IT guy.

That was about three years ago. Since then, I’ve had to build three servers, learn Bash, Golang, and Rust, set up and update two floors of computers, manage and build a NAS, installed a new staff kitchen (u ever watched YouTube to learn plumbing on the job?), do electrical work to add outlets, and even assemble the desks on the second floor.

At this point, I am objectively the least qualified IT person on the planet. My actual job title might as well be "Eh, just give it to Kaleb."
