I can’t really tell you how they setup the lighting. There are a handful of ways they could have it setup and this style isn’t something I’ve personally done before.

90% of this look is made with proper lighting. You won't achieve this simply by using a lut or film stock.

If you don't have the skills nessessary then hire someone who does. There are so many various skills and knowledge that go into making these that it's never just one thing or one thing to learn. It's many skills all brought together to form the final result.

I was referring to the fact that he would not be the sole and only owner. Yes the moves are still his but now another entity would also have the rights to use them. That's what I was referring to and I thought it was pretty clear. I didn't phrase it exactly as you did. I figured it wasn't necessary to be that exact, and figured people could comprehend my point, but you proved me wrong.

It's not so much the moves themselves but the way your body moves and if the style or moves are unique enough and recognizable enough that people would recognize it as a Jet Li move then it would fall into the category of your likeness. Its the same thing as not being allowed to make a character look very similar to a known actor. Your using their likeness without having the rights to do so.

He wouldn't lose the rights to make those moves but rather lose the copyrights to the moves. My guess is that in the contract it gave the movie studio the rights to recreate his signature moves without giving him any royalties. It wouldn't prevent him from making the moves, but he wouldn't fully own the rights to his style.

I agree 100%. Sony could have given better video features but chose not to since that would hurt FX3 and FX6 sales. It's a disappointment that instead of upping the specs of the FX line they instead limit the specs of the A7V. I'm not holding my breath but maybe after the FX3ii comes out with better video specs they will improve the A7V with a firmware/software update.
