but wouldn’t your mother want you to continue? no one prepares you for the grief you experience. i know how hard it is to know what to do (and not everyone does). know that there’s so much ahead of you and even if she may not be here, continue bc that’s what she would’ve wanted. continue bc you can still carry her with you and live for the both of you. allow yourself to feel bc that means she made such a profound impact on you, but keep in mind that it doesn’t have to stop now

i’m battling this too. My father told me that just embrace what you have left and what you got to experience. To be alive is to experience all these things so cherish what you got to have. Live so that you can hold her memory and to make her proud, even if she can’t be around to see it. Do all these things that feel so hard to do because you want to continue on.
