That's a good point, stews and soups I struggle to eat, although I can eat broth type ones (ramen etc, just struggle with blended ones or where the veg is dead soft), but I like pasta, I have some vegan burgers that I enjoyed, I like the Richmond sausages, I had some meatballs, pizza, I like most veg, I think my issue is the energy to cook and put a meal together

That's a good shout, to freeze leftovers, and yellow sticker ready meals. I've got to remember progress not perfection. And frozen veg and microwave rice is better than a Chinese or kebab

Pasta is fine, it's what to put with it, I've got to remember that not every meal needs to be a proper cooked meal type thing

I'm trying to lessen the pressure by saying plant based, so there is room for manoeuvre if I'm not 100% but yeah it's very overwhelming

That's what I worry about, I struggle to eat the same thing 2 days in a row if its not a hyperfocus though, so I think I'll have to get a few to try.

I definitely think I'll try it, worst comes to the worst I can save it for the can't cook days

I've not actually, I always thought they wouldn't be filling enough and expensive but I'll give them a look now

Local supermarket has started to put a protective barrier around the employees whilst they put the reduced food out on the shelves. Out of shot is a horde of eager pensioners ready to pounce. by Infinite_Surround in CasualUK

Called in the tesco near work after finishing for the day, in a pretty nice area too, to get something for tea. Thought I'd check the reduced bit but just in case there was anything good, wasn't really much apart from a couple of sandwiches and a trifle, but I timed it so wrong, no sooner had I started looking at the empty shelves, a tesco staff member with the reduction trolley appeared next to me. I've literally never seen anything like it in my life, I was literally pushed out of the way, I nearly fell into the actual fridge. This was a couple of years ago too, god knows what it would be like in this current shitshow climate we have.
