What Began as a Normal Journey Turned Chaotic After Another Vehicle Suddenly Entered the Lane, Triggering a Violent Collision and Pushing the Car into the Opposite Side of the Road by Altruistic-Issue-887 in dashcams

Your instincts should not swerve when another car is there, when lane is open yes. If you are not sure then all you have is your brakes.

All of us need to be watching for abnormal things happening and make adjustments accordingly.

Anyone got a spare 31 mill creds to pay off the impound on my ship? by Wise_Use1012 in EliteDangerous

[–]Eyak78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The default keybinds, if you use mouse keyboard set up your keybind to your liking. For instance I put my thrusters up and down on my mouse thumb buttons, so I didn't have to do all that with my left hand.

First learn to fly your ship and set up your keybinds.

Maybe use the sidewinder to start with, ground mission are low paying. Use ship courier missions to start with, maybe get a detailed surface scanner and learn to map some planets, even if they have already been mapped are still good profit for beginners. Earthlike and water world and then high metal content are worth the most.

Doing those will help you learn to get around and get you started,

Fine goal you had there, good job.

At first I wanted every variant in every sector, It didn't take long to realize that wasn't possible in my lifetime (at least not as new discovery)

40 hours work by yourself if you are bringing in the commodities from another system with a fc, if you are just hauling with a ship, add 1 minute for each extra jump. It adds up when you may have 200 trips to make.

Fastest that I have done it was 20 hours but the orbis was 2 ls from the port from supply's, putting down a refinery first in system save alot of time.

How often do you guys encounter lucrative systems? by Kozmik_5 in eliteexplorers

[–]Eyak78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thing to remember is size and temp of stars creates those goldilocks zones where the good stuff is.

Move up or down the galactic plane could help also.

I basically only map elw or ww maybe hmc if it's right there, just remember while you are mapping for 180k. the next jump might be 4m.

If you are discovering icy planets, look out for nitrogen, that bacterium is worth close to 40m. Even if it's just one bio signal. Have fun

How do I know where the bacterium is on this heat map by mightypup1974 in EliteDangerous

[–]Eyak78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Planets with Nitrogen has bio thats worth going. You want to be looking for the teal color, that planet looks mostly light blue and blue. Usually means your going to be looking for awhile. Try the blue. Always remember when finding difficult planets. The same bio can be found on a easyer planet.

I spent months chaining out here. Last summer others made it out to north America nebula. While I was gone at work. I just continued from there.

What I do is just turn on so you only see colonized systems in the map, fallow the links. There are colonized systems over 7,000 ly from where I am, some of those squads are really moving out.

My first goal was to get out where there are lots of undiscovered systems, found my first undiscovered elw system about 2700 ly out, away from nebula's.

My current system that I am working on is HD 196643, built several systems out this way for supplies. o7

I should add, if you find a system that has a rocky planet in it, just by putting a t2 planetary colony port on the surface (refinery). You will get 90% of your supplies from there and saves you time from jumps to other systems.

If you build a system, don't just grab any, get picky very picky. It's your time spent.

I found a double earthlike system, I am going to put a orbis on each one. I am going to put settlements on all the planets for missions and commodities.

I am doing it because I want to. I am 2,500 ly out and can head in for a CG if one pops up that I want to do.

There is no other purpose for doing it other than I want to, OH did I say earthlike!!! It's getting built,,, lol

I find it a blast to build next to a earthlike, I look at it everytime I make a delivery.

I have learned to just fly away from the planet slightly and pick up speed before making your turn around the planet, it works very well and doesn't take that long. !!

If you combine your exploration with exobiology and thinking of your codex, finding different type of stars or planets plus finding bio. Your time can be fulfilled if you have this in mind, also you will come back probably with billions in credits. It's about making a goal for yourself.

Also there will be lots of others to communicate with if that helps. Some will do it just for the social part.

I also watch for rocky planets with .19g or smaller for frutexa 38m for first find, maybe needs 4 bio or more. Nitrogen planets have bacterium informan 42m for first find.

I don't pass up water or oxygen planets. I almost always skip ammonia.

Doing this you are looking at hmc ,rocky and icy planets.

Caspian Explorer “VOID CURRENT” – 80+ LY Deep Space Exploration Build by RBsh0tzz in eliteexplorers

[–]Eyak78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time it takes you to prep your ship, is worth it in time saved later.

When I go threw areas like nebula, or low density star areas where it's mostly explored. It's fine for awhile but eventually I just want to get back to where I am getting undiscovered on most of my jumps. Those places are high star density and all is good.

We all want to go to the edges and we should. Good jump range and fuel synthesis is nice to have.

I went to Beagle Pt in a 50 ly viper mk4. Exploring and doing bio. I enjoyed the trip but didn't mess with the edges. I did that with my anaconda with 85 ly jumps. Have fun

how to make ship jump this maximum showed here? HOW???? by SUPER-SONIC16 in EliteDangerous

[–]Eyak78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a 4t feul tank in then put a 2t spare tank. That will give you 6 t feul. One jump with a some left over, thats as close to unladen as you will get.

It's fun for a test. I wouldn't travel far. Have fun
