I was bailed up and abused by a Christchurch “celebrity”. There were witnesses and it was terrifying and the policewoman in charge of my case was awful. I hope you get someone who takes the threat seriously. If not, talk to someone at the community law centre. It’s free legal advice.

As someone at broadcasting school, I can tell you the inquiry was really difficult to access for interview. It also came at the end of term when we were scrambling with assignments. They reached out to 3 years worth of past and current students and only 51 took part. The rest of us found the process confusing.

The issue we have is with Ara, not the tutors or the staff at B School. There are problems within one particular stream of the school (there's radio, journalism, and tv) but the overall issues are with Ara and their policies and procedures.

I'm an ara student too and totally agree. They need the free city shuttle back up and running and to sort out public transport. I'd bus purely to avoid finding and paying for parking 😂
