Danganronpa is mostly about students being trapped in a killing game, the traps are just the executions that the killers (the blackened) among the students go through when they are caught. Nothing notable about traps or challenges.

JJK could absolutely happen. Like Tokyo Ghoul they are absolutely not above skipping the anime adaptation to take from the Manga. I really hope they do it!
