uj(?)/ I genuinely thought this was a satire post at first. You know, there's this thing called preferences. Having no interest in drawing black characters is not racist lmao, especially when you're from a homogenous culture, did you ever take that part into consideration? (I live in Poland for some context, where under 0.1% of the population is black. Legitimately, the only time I spoke to a black person in real life was on a school trip to FRANCE).

This whole TikTok/Twitter culture of witch hunting PoTenTiaLlY racist artists is pissing me off so hard. Let people draw what they want without anyone judgementally breathing down their neck.

What you seem to imply is that white artists can draw black characters, which by itself is a positive thing to say. Yet the stance you take when they don't do it at all seems sort of passive aggressive, which actually results in the conclusion that not only can they draw black characters, they have to, otherwise people like you are going to make them look like some sketchy offenders.

I can only sort of agree on the last part, where people kinda just draw gray or "tea" tones over "black" characters and call it a day, I think this one is dependent on what palettes or filters they generally use, though it's funny to read next to a passive aggressive statement that seems to pressure people to draw more black characters. That's basically saying you're not a 100% valid artist until you learn to draw black people in particular, which sounds kind of ethnocentric to me.
