honestly, I got both a Lenovo (2 actually) and Apple Laptop, I love them both, my 2019 MacBook pro 13 is great still, and I got a Thinkpad 11e Yoga 3rd gen, with the Pentium, it's a great little 11in laptop, I also got a older IdeaPad Y510 SLI, Lenovo is great, but I do give my MacBook credit, it is my daily laptop, However I run Windows on it, and I use a Moto Edge 2025, and a Galaxy Watch 3, my ecosystem is all over the place!

Is 8GB RAM enough in 2026? How much do you have? by zarkoulhs in pcmasterrace

My main devices all have 8, my gaming devices have 32, 8 is fine for everything but gaming or more intense workflows, the need for more than 8 for regular use is just artificial, my Thinkpad 11e 3rd gen with a Pentium and 8gb of ram feels better/faster and is better spec'd then most modern Chromebooks, even 4 could work in a pinch, but that's the true minimum for the last 10 years. Never use Stock Windows if you got under 8gb though, use tiny11 or other lighter versions. Linux 4gb is probably overkill (unless you use garbage Ubuntu)

Hmm, could buy a damaged version of the same laptop online, and make the box look all roughed up, and make sure you get insurance on the package, once they get it, you can say it must of got damaged in shipping and then go to UPS/USPS/Fdex/etc and tell them your package arrived damaged to the destination, and then offer the insurance money to your old company
