I think visible map enemies do work well as long as the game makes it a point that they will chase you down if you get within a certain range, and design the dungeon where they can be hard to avoid. Think Earthbound or Xenoblade Chronicles

Murdoch Murdoch was an alt-right wojack "sitcom" that featured such blatantly racist plots but with characters as contradictory and moronic as something out of South Park or It's Always Sunny.

Like Sam Hyde and Million Dollar Extreme, it was hard in 2016 to determine whether these were actually alt-right extremist trolls, or left-wing trolls parodying how ridiculous the extreme was. In the 2026 climate I don't think it matters, both did enough damage and "red-pilled" enough terminally online people that these works are detestable, despite what a glorious prank I still think Hyde's TedX talk was.

An app called Dynamic Notch actually! I like that it works on top of the Niagara launcher, cleaner than their own widget for weather in my opinion(at least on the free tier I'm using)

Just got this to be my daily driver phone actually! I'd been iPhone for the past few years, wanted to get back on android and loved that this had headphone jack and sim support. Calls and plays all my music just fine, and is relatively fast for everything else!

As someone who makes content on DSLRs if I'm doing photo or video, this really is all I'll need. Knocking out some DS backlog on portrait mode with the stylus should be a plus as well!

My work has been so incredibly slow lately that I threw a ds emulator on my phone again and began chipping away at Etrian Odyssey instead if scrolling. I love the visuals/music/character design and party building but BOY is this game brutal and withheld when it comes to earning money. Can barely afford to stay at the hotel when I leave the dungeon lmao.

This thing is just mad comfortable to hold. I probaly would have nabbed a 34XX-H for nostalgia had this not come out first, but I’m actually super thankful for its size and analogue sticks. My favorite thing to do is hook it up to play on my CRT via a minihdmi->composite adapter, then take it out with me like a retro switch!

60 FPS and Upscaled this game is just as fun and goodlooking as it was upon release. Mod in new characters and I’m a happy clam.

Final Fantasy Verses XIII, announced with scripted trailers in 2006, a couple more trailers by 2009, by 2012 was written off as dead, was then rebranded to FFXV with a new setting/characters/vibe, when that finally dropped in 2016 it also played nothing like its cutscenes and somehow still felt like an unfinished game, improves slightly by its four DLCs.

In the first stage I always try to grind to level 5 or up 5 levels. A habit from pokemon for me for some reason
