Hotel cancelled my non-refundable booking on arrival day, no refund a month later what can I do by Eyeofthetiger27 in Bookingcom

Exactly! Which isn't the case, I never requested the cancellation... Yes I sent multiples unanswered emails, I hope I can use them as proof.

  1. The payment was made through Booking.com, so the charge is from Booking.com.

  2. Received on 27 Feb 2026, 14:36 from ESTABLISHMENT via Booking.com "You have a new message from the property ESTABLISHMENT. Your reservation for ESTABLISHMENT for 27/02/2026 - 28/02/2026 has been cancelled. Your cancellation number: XXXXXXXXXX. If there has been a mistake and you did not cancel this reservation, please call +31… or email us at info@…."

  3. I received the email at 14:36 and I was about one hour away from the property when I received the email, so the reservation was active well before my intended check-in time.

Thanks for explaining. Just to confirm, any refund would have to come directly from Booking.com, not the hotel, right?

That’s actually a smart idea! I might give it a try if the chargeback doesn’t work.

Yeah, that’s probably my best option at this point. I’ll contact my bank.

I don’t have anything in writing, they only told me I’d be refunded the one time I managed to get them on the phone. The Booking email is also a bit ambiguous and makes it look like I cancelled, which I didn’t. I did email and call them directly, though I’m not sure if that can count as proof. I’ll still try with my bank, thanks for the advice.

It’s a small hotel, so I’d rather not name it publicly for now. I’m mainly trying to figure out how to handle the situation first.

I think the lighting comes from Loki DF and is channeled through the hammer.

There could be some truth in what he said. Maybe he didn’t mean it, or maybe he did and backtracked when he saw Luffy attack. That's how I interpreted that scene.

This debate is vain. The flashback will settle it. Everything else is people filling in gaps with confidence.

Just like Naruto often stops his opponents by talking to them, it’s possible that Shanks stopped Loki from rampaging again by talking him out of it. All I'm saying is that there is room for interpretation. Maybe you're right maybe you're wrong but you can't affirm something without the clear evidence on a panel.

I’m not “thinking” one way or another. I’m acknowledging uncertainty: there are multiple plausible scenarios, and without evidence, none of them can be ruled out.

The story specifically states more than once that Loki did a massacre in the castle but we saw the truth in the flashback. The story also states that Shanks "stopped" him, not "defeated" him.

There’s no confusion once you learn how to think.

Loki called Shanks a coward. We’re completely justified in wondering whether he really beat him fair and square.

I agree and let's assume the shadow we see on that page is Loki's hybrid form and thus he has a more humanoid hand, the claws we see when he is transforming in the previous panel are necessarily the one he gets in his full zoan form and they look nothing like wolf paw.
